Close to the city center Nice old building

booking reservation says there is a balcony and socket next to the bed. I got only small window facing to the patio and socket only on a middle of the wall, so I had to put all my devices on a floor. the shower head is spraying the water all over the bathroom in general room needs a serious maintenance and cleaning.

- Location was fantastic, the room was what we needed, nothing over the moon but comfortable and clean. Great extended time for checkout so we did not have to rush to vacate the room - Loved the architecture and decoration of the hotel in general

It would have been nice to have a iron for our clothes as we had a concert/dinner that same night, as well as a secure location for our important stuff like our passports (e.g., a safety box perhaps?)

I didn't eat there . The location was perfect for me ; except at night need to take extra precautions

Very comfortable, clean and big room with nice hot shower and not overpriced. This hotel is much better than many other more expensive hotels in this area! Friendly staff! Beautiful old building. The location is great to explore the relaxed, nice city Guanajuato. If you want to experience the real Mexican way of life you should go to Guanajuato and stay in this hotel. If you only stay in Cancun in a big hotel resort you haven’t seen the real Mexico.

Not good Wi-Fi!

A great value hotel in a perfect location to explore the sights of Guadalajara. The hotel is located about a block from the light rail station which will connect you straight to the bus terminal making arriving and departing by bus easy and cheap. All the main sights of the city are walkable from the hotel, and there are plenty of good, local places to eat nearby. The room was clean,comfortable, and quiet, and my room was cleaned even more every day.

The location of the property is excellent if you like the historic center. The AC works great, even though they were having extremely high temperatures. And the staff was very friendly.

there was a plastic sheet below the regular sheets, which perhaps is more sanitary, but it feels a little weird

The location of the property is the best you can find. It is very very clean and the A/C works great for the Gdl heat.

I found the rooms very small but it’s ok for a few days but could be a inconvenience when staying longer.

there was no restaurant due to covid, that's fine, the room was nice, the hotel was located right in downtown, at walking distance from many historical attractions, the staff kind and helpful

no elevator, but it's a historical building so I think they are not allowed to modify the structure of the building, in the bathroom there was a water drain but it was stinky, and during the night the surrounding area can be a bit harsh

Beds very comfortable, large room, great air conditioning, easy check in and check out, close proximity to great restaurants and mercado san juan de dios

Rooms are very noisy at night, wifi connection subpar

it was no problem for me, but there is 3 Floors , and no elevator, so that may be challenging for some. Also, the breakfast was OK but very Mexican.
