Hotel Maya Ah Kim Pech

The location was great, close to a market and the malecon. The front desk people were nice, a great 24 hour restaurant next door. Nice pool, and clean comfortable beds, and hot water. The rooms are a bit dark, but no biggie. Apparently the hotel was built about 1540, so cool, so hey we could over look the deficits!

More lighting. The room was basic and was fine for us.

This is a lovely hotel, central for everything, good staff at all hours and next door is a 24 hour restaurant/cantina open all hours and it is superb! The room was fine, the staff are very helpful, we didnt have a window but no problem its an old building full of character in the Historical Centre. Highly recommended, the staff are friendly, helpful and for a location you cant beat it. If we go back to Campeche we will book again.

Given price, the fact its an old building with character, reasonably thinking about it there wasnt anything at all that we didnt like.

Perfect location right off the main square so you can walk to everything - restaurants, museums, etc. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Nice showers with good pressure and hot water. The pool was larger than it looked in photos although we didn’t have much time for swimming. Staff was great and even moved one of their cars so we could get parking close by. I had read lots of great reviews but wasn’t sure how kid friendly the property would be and the kids loved it.

A Location is excellent. Room was in what may have been a large family home way back in the day. AC was excellent no windows, but 20+ foot ceiling sure made it feel open. If you are looking for a posh place, this ain't it. But if you need a base to explore from, this was fine. Comfortable bed, which I can't say about other , more expensive places. Very very quiet in the morning.we slept in until 10 am, never heard a thing.

Toilet is too close to the wall. I'm 6'4" . It's an old building, like , really old., but with some charm.

The hotel is located right on the main square and close to many tourists spots. Less than 10 minute walk to the boardwalk. Unique looking hotel with lots of character, shared kitchen and with a pool.

Great location metres from the main square and cathedral. Characterful old building, big high rooms though windowless. Shower good. nice little pool. Excellent value for money.

Bedding far too small for double bed so rucked up and disrupted sleep. WiFi bandwidth issues, common in Mexico. Ceiling fan in room 6 needs oiling! Would be great if did breakfast.

it was nice to have a kitchen available but it was not very inviting. we only used the fridge.

we loved our stay here! the staff was very polite and let us check in before the time since we arrive early by bus. the cable tv was great and the bathroom amenities were perfect. we didn't use the pool but looked so nice and clean.

Great location - the hotel is right in the middle of the old centre, but on a quieter street. My room was interior, which means no windows but also less noise - and AC ensured adequate ventilation.

it's an original building from the 1600, so if it rains on the bed during a rain storm this is forgivable
