Louis Hotel

Walking distance to restaurants & seven e, comfortable pillows, access to hotel entrance & room using card, safety box, bathroom is well ventilated, strong water pressure, toilet has both bidet & butt spray, inside the hotel smells good, clock tower nearby the building is visible from room.

Stain on the ceiling looks like movie dark water, very low water pressure & water heater not functioned after midnight, corridor reflects much sound

For this price, excellent! Room is clean; bed, pillows & bedding super comfy! I've stayed at a higher rated hotel not too far away and it was so bad comparatively. Reception staff helpful & friendly, even the auntie! Lighting is good, lots of power sockets, ample space to place stuff. Most importantly, not everything is from budget IK*A! Will definitely stay here again!

No fault of the property but there is major construction just across the narrow street. There was work going on after 9-10pm! Luckily for me, room was not facing this but I think at least half the rooms are facing this street.

Big size, clean, and air-conditioned room, with simple fixture design. Comfortable and clean pillows and mattress. Ample space to perform prayers and stretching exercises. Clean toilet and bathroom with a good supply of toilet rolls, bath soap, hair shampoo, set for mouth care, and glasses. Not forgetting clean towels. Big screen TV. Friendly and helpful staff. Don't forget to use the coupon or parking apps on your phone to park your car in public parking spaces near the hotel from 8.30am to 5.00 pm.

Not quite soundproof. Could hear noises from the corridor. Somehow these are quite tolerable.

1. Parking; have to pay but the hotel gives coupon on daily basis for 2 hours; if you wish to park longer than 2 hours then you have to pay. 2. Location; it’s rather a quiet place, not many food choice 3. Non sound proof room; you can hear every thing happens outside of your room.

A female chinese staff called me for confirmation on the check-in day. This is a very good gesture to remind the guest and to assure them that their rooms are ready. I was welcomed by an Indian male staff who was effcicient and friendly. Also given an upgraded room for some reason. The lobby looks just nice but the entrance door is quite secluded at the back of building. Parking space is not an issue because it’s quite near. But during night time, the area was really dark and you must need company girls. Don’t forget to install apps Park@Perak for your own peace of mind. The city council people will start their rounds at 9:00am and around 3:00pm. But it also depends I think.

King Room shower cubicle kept bathroom floor dry, comfortable bed and bedding, drinking water supply and free coffee sachets with kettle; friendly receptionists, lighting.

The walls need touching up, wall paper starting to peel in one corner; after I washed my hair in the spa bath, some water leaked onto the floor near the bathroom door. Keep up maintenance, and you'd be gold. Check and improve the shower cubicle doors.

Good location for food courts & restaurants. Usb outlet beside the bed. Daily housekeeping. Friendly staff.

There was a post / pillar in the centre of the room, which was awkwardly positioned. Took up space in an already small room. The post had peeling & ripped wall paper, which looked disgusting. The plumbing was noisy. The markets over the road, were closed for renovations.

The room is big and accessible by elevator. The front desk staff were also very helpful. They also provided the ticket parking for the stay in case you were bringing your car. ( can purchase additional tickets from them as well..at RM 0.60/hour)

It's kind of hard to find the place, due to the construction nearby.. The parking is also limited.

The location of the hotel is really strategically excellent. Everything is in walking distance. The hotel is quiet and clean, the staff extremely professional, helpful and polite. I really enjoyed. Never before had two working tables. Need them both, actually.

For me everything was perfect. I have no complains. The street is quit, but 50 meters from the main street, which is actually an advantage.
