Valya Hotel

This review for Family premier room with 2 double bed.... Service - for check in have 2 counter but during the visit, only one counter available where another counter seem have 2 people but seems busy... So need to wait for my turn... Never asked or called service desk during the visit, so not sure on the service... The service desk called my room to tell it is check out time... Room - Really clean and all the things you need is available inside the room including iron, TV, small fridge, one seater sofa, table chair, kettle and etc... Bathroom - all good except the drain at the shower not proper drain the water where when shower, the floor full of water...

The drain at the shower not proper drain the water where when shower, the floor full of water... The prayer mat seems not wash and smell... The check in counter should prioritize customer and avoid queue although the line not so long...

We are repeat guests as the Valya hotel in Ipoh, its all about location and good service, reasonable cost..staffs always excellent, we never had a problem communication, and access to the rest of the town from train station to hotel is easy by taxi and walking distance from bus station to hotel and we always being grateful for their commitment to excellence service they provided, we look forward to staying with you again soon.

Location-very near to mydin mall (50 meters only), yes mydin mall not your average small mydin. Parking - public parking Near to restaurants (mamak type) if you want Malay food, you have to drive a little. The room has 3+1 drink electric kettle and iron Wi-Fi.

I am satisfied with the hotel

Very comfy room. Very friendly staff at the lobby counter.

There are areas in the room where it either looks not so clean or aged. Management may need to look at repainting the room atleast to make it look nicer.

The apartment was so nice and comfortable..bid living area and fill up.more guests..we come in six.

The staff is so not frenly and welcoming..treating guest like not guest..haih x fahammm...u should send ur front desk people to PR training...

Staff is friendly, facility there is so good ,room was clean and excellent , sleep was comfortable and calm, value for money is very good and then location is superb because nearly have a lot of shop to purchase to us.

Room with queen sized bed was spacious, clean and comfortable but the hot shower didnt work. Rooms with twin beds looked cramp.

There was no room service

Very near to many food outlets and to Mydin Mall. The hotel's room is comfortable for 4 adults and there is a mini fridge so the food we bought could be kept in it for late night consumption without having to go out. Suitable for family with young teenagers.

Nothing

Room is spacious. Cleanliness (room and bathroom) is superb. Location near Mall and eateries (especially fast food joints - KFC, McDonalds, Pizzahut, etc). Parking no longer free - however was I thoroughly guided on how to install relevant apps to facilitate online parking. Friendly and helpful staff, fast arrival and check-out response time.

The food and scenery as it is surrounded by Banjaran Kledang. Sejuk mata memandang segala kehijauan.

MBI issued me a summon for not parking with a parking ticket at the hotel area. The info was not informed during the check-in. Although later I saw the notice at the receptionist counter, it was too late then.
