Heeren Palm Suites

Lovely huge clean room with big TV. The service was personalised and we could park car inside the property. Breakfast was good enough. Location was excellent, 6min on foot to Jonker Street.

Our room was next to the road so if you are a light sleeper, it's not good. There is no elevator so need to climb stairs. Another thing is there are mosquitoes outside of our room so need to use a repellant.

The design of the boutique hotel was very nice, it retained the antique structure and setup but fully refurbished it as well. So it feels like you're staying in somewhere very classic and going back in time. You're also surrounded by other buildings that's in similar design so walking out of the building does give that classic feel as well. The hotel provided parking since we're quite familiar with the area, we went straight to the parking for check-in. The location was amazing as it's just a stone's throw away from Jonker (less than 1 min walk) and food/sightseeing is always in view. The staff is great and attentive as well.

I brought my parent who finds it a bit challenging to climb up the stairs, so this was the only drawback as we got the room that's the highest in the unit. If anyone has concern of wheelchair or disabled accessibilities, do take this into consideration.

Great location and Mr Aaron at reception gave the stay a very personal touch right from the welcome, opening doors and all of the assistance he gave. We stayed at the Parameswara Suite which was extremely spacious, clean and the bathroom was fantastic.

The traffic noise in rooms 201 and 202 is quite bad, some sound proofing of the windows would make a difference and quite a few mosquitoes at breakfast

We were greeted by a glass of tea and cold towels to freshen up upon arrival. A sweet gesture we weren't expecting. Service was outstanding. A surprise too to find an area for kids to play, right next to the breakfast buffet area. The buffet spread was perfect. It fits everyone's taste - from rice to noodles, egg station, cereal, waffles and toasts and cut fruits. We stayed for 2 days and they changed menu on the second day. Everything served was delicious. Restaurants for lunch/dinner are right behind this hotel. Cafes and jonker st within walking distance. The room is super cosy with smart TV too. Highly recommended. We will definitely come again.

They didn't provide toothbrush but that's fine cause Watson is just nearby (or you could just pack it from home)

Staff were very helpful and kind. Very centrally located, at walking distance from all main attraction and city centre. The building is a heritage site, very nice and well maintained. Rooms were clean and well prepared.

Although the bed and room were very comfortable, during the night the noise of the ground floor aircon system was a bit too loud, we could feel the vibrations through the mattress, not very pleasant. In relation to breakfast, there could have been more variety in food, pastries and fruits, and higher quality coffee.

Awesome location! Close to everything but not in the middle of busy night market, easy walk, gorgeous street, an absolute joy! Our room (front first floor) was just beautiful, our bathroom was enormous, room had lovely character. The whole stay could not have been better. Daniel, the manager, was so very friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. Highly recommend a stay at Heeren Palm Suites!

Will never understand the hotel industry’s love of glass walled bathrooms

Located just near the busy Jonker street this hotel is a perfect place for a stay in Melaka. The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable and the staff very sweet. The location is perfect within a walking distance of many restaurants and shops.

The check-inn took a little time. Also one of our room was located upon the dining area and the sounds from people getting breakfast early in the morning woke us up. Mentioning the breakfast I would have preferred more of variety for fresh fruits and western options. Now it consisted more of Asian style foods like noodles and chicken, which I thought looked more like a dinner setting.

The room is big, aircon is strong too. Very good location too. Breakfast is good too except the coffee was disappointed. Have a few private parking lot which is good for those driving. Overall the stay was good, comfortable. Will consider to stay here when going to Melaka. They are one of the few good ones at Jonker walk.

The room doesnt have curtains for certain rooms facing the Jonker walk. Some of them may like it, but not for us. The toilet's sprinkler was leaking, made the dry area wet.

Good place, well kept. Neat and clean.

There was no power socket that was within reach to use the electric kettle. Neither to charge the phone. All the sockets were under the table and extremely difficult to reach. A hair dryer was in the room. And where would one be able to plug it in? I informed the young man at the reception desk but he just gave me a blank look. I dont blame him, he cant do anything about that.

very historical, a beautiful property, extremely spacious with that strong sense of heritage to it. not crowded and crammed full of rooms like other hotels. will definitely stay there again.

stayed in room 3, sadly the room has massive windows facing the stairs and office style blinds are provided instead of curtains so no matter how u adjust them, guest could still look into the room from certain angles. but that’s a very small matter. still thoroughly loved my stay!
