Hotel Maluri

For the price per quality I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting KL. It is outside of the center but near a big mall with a metro station so easy to visit everything by train or using grab. Staff were very polite. Clean etc. pleasant atmosphere

I heard ac could be slow to cool but they gave me two cards so I could leave it on, therefore I had no problems with temperature. I also heard the furniture and building could be run down in places and I noticed this too. WiFi could be faster. I still consider it 10/10 as it is such a good price considering that it has all the main essentials that you would expect from a 3 star hotel hotel

It is an old gem in cheras area, tried its best to survive all these rocky years in the busines, yes they managed to float, still having a large pool, bigger room size then most hotels, clean n confortable room, muslim friendly, ample parking space, it would be better the rate includes breakfast but we dont have those. Out of the hotel, lots of chinese and mamaks food outlets. If prefer fine and confortable but at a slightly higher price, they have a restaurant, maluri cage, within the building and a small cute cafe, tiga gajah, at the side of the lobby entrance. The staf there are nice and price is reasonable.

Only the tv channels, better check and at least provide a list of channels, paste it on the table.

Food @ Gajah 3 was extremely awesome and delicious... Housekeeping is also superb and the water pressure is strong. The swimming pool was ok, since they provide floats for children to swim. Overall everything seems great and definitely will consider booking again.

Centralize aircond which is not so consistently cold and loud. This has been fixed after complaining to the reception. However, the aircond is not very cold to certain parts of the room even if we are setting to the min degree and luckily its a raining seasons. Poor tv channels and should consider installing channels with a movie channels or an android box instead of just a normal channel. Wifi coverage at level 3 not so strong. But surely a great hotel with that price.

- Rooms were larger than expected with beds that were very comfortable and nicely renovated toilets - Allowed us to check in early! - Hotel is located in a rather secluded but safe area and so there was never any noise or light pollution that affected our sleep - Within walking distance to malls, transport links and plethora of food options - For first timers, do consider walking through AEON Mall after exiting the LRT/MRT, as it is much easier to reach the hotel that way

-Initially it was a bit difficult to find the hotel if you follow Google maps and choose to arrive by foot - But the receptionist was kind enough to tell us an easier route to reach the hotel from Maluri LRT/MRT, which we greatly appreciate.

The location is really superb. Everything is within the walking distance. Before check in, I was in sceptical mode due to the review that I read. After checked in, I decided that you can't totally trust the review, as seeing is believing. All the inaccurate review about the cleanliness, the not-working AC was already been dealt with by the management. Definitely became one of my favorite hotel. Will come back in future

Almost none,but it will be highly appreciated if the hotel put some water dispenser in the hotel. Also, the pillow a bit soft in my opinion

Room 260 Please change the mattress. The left hand side near the phone has sunken in. All rooms: Please fix the HANDLE for the toilet roll for all rooms. Please UPGRADE the WiFi for all rooms. Signals quite weak. Please re-allocate the huge MIRRORS in the room facing out. Only a few hung facing out. Others were hung on the panty cabinet. Difficult to use the mirrors. All other rooms, poor outflow of water. Huge water puddle during shower. Bad.

I had a comfortable and good relaxing 4 night stay.

There weren't any supplies for tootbrush/toothpaste. I feel low budget hotels are able to provide the simplest toothbrush and toothpaste so DEFINITELY hotel Maluri can improve on that.

Nice hotel with a pool for kids. Check in was swift. The room was very comfortable with a complimentary coffee making facility. The bathroom was modern with hot and cold shower. The bed was comfy. Wifi was exceptionally good when i was there as i attend online seminar. Three mall was within walking distance but i rather take ehailing, Sunway velocity, Aeon mall and Mytown where Ikea Cheras. Eatery is walking distance and 24 hours laundry is 1 minute away from hotel.

Good location, only 10 minutes away from UKM medic campus and quite near to Aeon and Sunway Velocity Mall. A lot of eateries within walking distance and the food in the hotel cafe itself was decent. The room was clean and comfortable. All basic amenities were provided for. They entertained my 2 am check in as well. Free and safe parking for guests as well. Will definitely come back to this hotel if I ever visit Cheras again.

No major issue. Perhaps they can provide a small tray in the shower to put shampoo bottles for us to reach easily while showering.

Have been staying there for two weeks, the staffs were helpful and friendly, unlike most of the negative comments about the hotel I find the room clean and cozy. The food from Gajah Tiga is so good, my favourite dish was the buttermilk chicken fried rice! They have delivery too if you are staying not too far from the hotel. I really like the design of the hotel, it really brings out the Malaysian feel, I feel cozy while staying there. The price is also very affordable especially for long stay. The location of the hotel is also very good, there are many nice malls nearby such as Sunway Velocity, Aeon Maluri, Ikea MyTown, I can go almost everywhere in KL within 20 minutes by driving. Bonus points: The hotel staffs are nicw to cats ❤️

Since the hotel is old, som forw facilities might not work that well, aircond you have to adjust a few times to test the right temperature. The mattress is a little bit too hard for me.
