Mercure Kuala Lumpur Shaw Parade

Staff were attentive. The location is low key and is an area populated by locals. It may not be the best idea to roam around at night, but there is security on site at all times. Easy pick up area for ride hailing and reasonably close to tourist neighborhoods. Lots of options for food nearby. Not many open past 10pm, but i don’t mind since the area is quiet. The view in the hotel rooms are lovely. Cityscape. Modern finishings and decor.

Shower temperature was inconsistent. I had maybe two hot showers out of 5 nights. The other were tepid. I asked staff to check on it, and i tested afterwards and confirmed not water was working. When i to a shower later that night, it was tepid again. Bathroom sink was fine for hot water, so i don’t know that the issue was.

Property is very clean and rooms are big. staffs are helpful too

Per room they offer only one breakfast which is not acceptable even if occupancy is double.

Staff was extremely nice and friendly, like all the Asians. The hotel is located in a very good position, easy to reach any touristical place. The pool was chill and most of the times we were the only ones using it. The view from terrace is really good as well.

The room could have a deep cleansing as there are some yellowish spots on the carpet that look pretty bad. Also, breakfast could be improved with more options for people that don't eat Asian food. Most of the mornings we had the same food options for the breakfast. We arrived around 11 am in the hotel and were expected to can do our check-in around 12-13. But it was told to us that checkin time is 3pm (even if I couldn't find this info anywhere on their page before or after doing the booking) so we had to pay extra money for early check-in. I was not very happy about this aspect.

Stayed here for 3 Nights but then decided to extend 2 more nights. Really liked this hotel. It's so near to Bukit Bintang, a Just 6-7 minutes walk. The location is just perfect if you want to enjoy the city life. There is so much to do and so many places to eat. Better than staying in KLCC. Hotel isn't the newest, yet it has all modern facilities. It is 20 stories high and there is beautiful scenery from the room and the roof top. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean. The rooms are a bit small but it has all the necessary furnishing including sofa, work tae and chair. Bed is big and comfortable and TV is placed right opposite to the bed. Bathroom is clean and well equipped, with instant hot water. Second time in a mercure brand and I have never been dissappointed. I think the price is very reasonable as well.

Location was fantastic in middle of Bukit Bintang easy walk to Berjaya Times Sq and other shopping and tourist destinations. Swimming pool on the rooftop and gym were added bonus, breakfast was fabulous with an extensive selection to suit all tastes and staff including Moinul were incredibly helpful extending Malaysian hospitality

It's a minor gripe but the building orientation was such that views of Petronas and KL tower were only seen from the lift lobby rather than from hotel rooms

I visited KL with with family, we had booked two adjacent rooms and were allocated next to each other. I had made an error in booking and the lady at the front desk, couldn't accommodate a double bed for me and my husband so we had two twin rooms. The location of the hotel is close to Bukit biting and and easy 25 min walk. The hotel is new, and all amenities are well provided, rooms are spacious and staff are courteous. We ordered some room service, the food was tasty and well priced.

The buffet breakfast could have more variety, some of it lacked taste. The guests are not allocated to the tables for breakfast and we sat in the corridor for breakfast one of the mornings we were there whilst there were table of 4 with only one guest occupying it. I gave feedback to the person in charge, which was brushed under the carpet.

This hotel was the best accommodation we experienced in Malaysia by far.ive rated it excellent on each indicator because it deserved it.. better than the photos. We bookended our Malaysia trip with stays here and had the pleasure of staying in a suite before our trip home. Staff were friendly especially manager me Azarul ( sorry if name spelt wrong) Angel and Imran. Aesthetic. Very clean and comfortable used grab for transport so easy to get around. We stayed in other places which were very unpleasant so coming back to this hotel was a welcome relief especially staying in the suite.highly recommend this place

Nothing to say here... The pool is exposed being outdoors and quite hot weather - but early mornings and early evening all good. The view was sensational and great for watching storms- again grab transport was so easy and cheap for transportation.

We stayed twice at Mercure Shaw Parade during our Malaysia trip First we had 4 nights in a twin room which was all you could ask for and secondly in a suite which was beyond expectations.. The beds were so comfortable - I have sleep apnoea and slept very well here. Professionally and personally the staff were welcoming and helpful especially the Manager, Imran and Angel I say a special thank you for a great stay.. I recommend very highly this clean, aesthetic, comfy place and as it was my husbands 70'th birthday shortly before we came it was especially nice to stay in a suite.

There wasn't really anything.Getting around Kuala Lumpur from the Mercure is so easy if you download and use the Grab App. As the reader can gather from my review I enjoyed+++ staying here

the room is clean good location average size of room toilet and shower is great

the parking is a bit gloomy - sharing with the shaw parade mall. you have to pay rm10 for 24hours. unlimited access.
