Service and amenities were amazing. Location was in a very convenient, busy and high-end part of KL

I had booked a city view room to enjoy but ended up with a room with a pretty terrible view facing a building that was half-constructed that took up 80% of the vista. The staff were so lovely that I knew there wasn't much they could do and didn't want to give them a hard time, but the booking should add a note there are rooms with different city views... for the price that I paid I definitely was expecting a better view

I stayed at BanyanTree KL for a birthday weekend. The room was amazing, with views of KL tower and the skyline. Huge bath tub, great room service too. Staff were superb overall. Huge huge shoutout to Ibrahim at Vertigo Bar and KJ at reception for going above and beyond to oblige my requests. These two in particular deserve a raise 😄 Location is key and this hotel definitely delivers, it’s within walking distance to pavilion and many other shopping centres. Breakfast was superb, and I will definitely be back the next time I’m in KL.

Having to pay a rather substantial deposit on arrival despite paying in full online, but this is understandable. Would be nice if this were communicated ahead of time somewhere on the website.

This hotel knows all about details and perfection. The room was super, all amenities you could need. At breakfast I was offered a scarf because the airco was too cold for me. The salad bar was good with the right dressing (balsamico). The orange jus was fresh and made from well tasting oranges. The staff was extremely friendly, very good service. The view at night from the roof top bar was super . The location of the hotel is central and close to many nice places. We also loved the restaurant Hakka around the corner with good seafood .

The pool was closed one afternoon when we wanted to swim. Also the roof top bar was closed that evening for a private party.

The whole experience - best hotel stay in my whole life, from the reception, room service, the room itself, in dining menu selection to breakfast. Would definitely be staying at Banyan everytime i go KL from now on.

Booked Hotel taxi to airport was not on time. Driver was not around - luckily, hotel another different driver around, which was fine and friendly. But it could have turned out bad - i could have missed my flight if there was no separate available driver. Suggest hotel to check in with booked limo driver an hour or so to remind driver to be on time.

Wow, what can I say? The most incredible stay ive had; and ive travelled a lot. The staff were absolutely incredible. They were so attentive and went above and beyond to make the stay perfect. This goes for all staff, everyone was exceptional from the hotel concierge to the door guards. Its changed my standards of staying in a hotel; which may be a bad thing because now after staying here my standards are higher (and they were high before). The breakfast was delicious and made fresh to order with a selection buffet to accompany it. Which is great they are conscientious of food wastage. The views were incredible. We went to the bar in the evening without a reservation and they went out of their way (again) to ensure we got a table with the best view of the towers. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and well equipped The location is great, just need to cross the road to get to the shopping centre (there is a bridge from the hotel too) Highly recommend staying here

1. The services were quite good (despite the speed could be improved) 2. Loved the Panoramic view from the room assigned to us 3. Loved the Hibiscus welcome drink 4. Essential oils did enhance our sleep (Orange is highly recommended!) 5. Location, it's convenient walking to Pavillion, Starhill, KLCC, Twin towers etc. 6. Despite of the Downs listed below, it's a hotel that I would like to consider to restay when I visit KL again, hopefully the Downs will be improved the soonest possible before our next stay (and hopefully there will be free room upgrades for us in the future ahahhaha)

1. The jet pool was not functioning properly. 2. The options of in-room breakfast shall be increased OR treat it the same or better as the ala-carte-buffet does (since in-room breakfast wont have unlimited refills and the room view is not as stunning as the breakfast location does 3. The Dimsum could be improved, most of the dimsums tasted even below average as compared to ordinary dimsums from kopi-tiams, which I didn't expect from a 5-star-hotel-breakfast. 4. The sliding door connecting from the smaller toilet to the main bathroom could not completely shutted as compared to the sliding door connecting from the main bathroom to the bedroom.

The hospitality was so good! I got there the day before my birthday and I already had decorations in my room for my birthday which made me feel so special. The following day ( my actual birthday) at breakfast I got the staff to sing for me and present me with a birthday cookie and candles to blow, it was so lovely. The rooms are also very spacious and the hotel is located right in the center so we could walk to Jalan alor and the rest of bukit bintang. The staff was also very caring, my friend didn’t like the taste of the water in our room and they gave us a carton of water in the middle of the night.

Nothing I can think of! Everything was pretty much in order!

Front counter staff was extremely friendly and warm and I loved the extra touch of welcome refreshments. They even proceeded to give my toddler a colouring book set on arrival. Very thoughtful. Room was up to the mark and very comfortable. If anything, the sofa and throw cushion were a little dusty but other than that everything was exceptional. All the staff we came in contact in were so friendly we can't wait to come back. Breakfast was really good too, loved the semi buffet semi ala carte idea to reduce waste. Food was tasty and lacking nothing. Only downfall was we wished there was a kid pool for our toddler but we truly enjoyed our stay. Thanks for everything!

The location of this hotel is perfect, it’s almost in a city center. Nearly just in 5 min walk you can find mall. The hotel is nice decorated, the hotel’s room amazing. Comfortable bed, big space for wardrobe but the star for all of this thing is the bath which is has a panoramic views on the city and Petronas Twin Tower. About food this depends on you as everyone has a different taste. As for me it was tasty but not very good. I was ordered fish and chips. At the top you can find bar and restaurant with good quality drinks. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. I can write a lot of positive reviews but it’s better to try it. If we come back to Kuala Lumpur again definitely we will stay in this hotel.

The food in room can be better

The views from your room on the 53rd floor through to pool and onto bars and restaurant are outstanding. You get to see KL wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night. The service from the hotels front door to house keeping is humbling in the pride they take to please you. Good food, great food and exceptional food are the delights that keep coming. Whether it is room service, the ground floor Bake cafe or upstairs for breakfast expect only good and great. And the Horizon Grill restaurant steaks are exceptional.

Don't stay here if you don't want to be spoiled for all other hotels. Baynan Tree hotel is the measure we will compare all others by.
