Amethyst Dorm KLCC

I was l lucky that they change all the mattress for beds during my stay, the new mattress is more comfortable. In general I had good sleep all the time. The location is a plus, walkable to all city center places The hostel is small, with only 8 beds but really cozy. Two sharing bathrooms are fine, and the staff are really nice. Perfect for people prefer quiet spaces

Would be nice to separate the shooting area and the toilet, if would be nice to have dry-wet apart

The location is very convenient, near a monorail and a metro station as well as a short walk to the twin towers

The hostel is a unite in a condo and you don't get an access card, so you have to register your data (Name passport number and cell number) each and every time you go up the building.

1. The whole stay was a good value for money - you can access some of the residence facilities e.g. swimming pool gym and at ground floor there are convenient stores and cafe. 2. The accommodation is located very close to train stations and nearby to tourist attractions and commercial areas.

1.The hassle to enter the dorm as it is part of the condominium. It's good for the residence security though. 2. The dorm ventilation, it's a bit stuffy. Air-conditioning was limited to certain hours during the day and night. 3. Some of the guests were long term guests, you still can expect some conversations but it's not like a youth hostel kind of vibe. (Considering the Co-vid 19 situation).

Good location, facilities, and feel like home.

Probably one or two double decker bed need to be fixed or changed , the bed shaking and produces a very bad sound when someone on the upper deck or lower deck moving their body to the left or right when they sleep.

The location is quite strategic. Only a few stops away from Bukit Bintang and less than half an hour from KL Sentral. Dorm is also comfortable though filled with 10 bunk beds. 2 toilets/shower - so you get a little privacy eventhough shared but its clean. Access also given for the gym and the pool. Overall, good stay!

Sometimes you can feel the aircond, sometimes you don't. It does get a bit warm with only the fan on. Luckily my bunk had a window, so I got to open it.

I’ve had a great time there!:))Its very social, you get to know the people quickly and the host Saif is very fun, he brings people together and is always down to go out, showing you the best bars etc. The pool, gym and Yoga deck is very nice. The kitchen is well equipped and clean so you can easily cook your own meals. There are two stores on the 1st floor and a fruit stand outside. The location of the hostel is great, it’s for example close to an mrt station, a nice food court and the twin towers.

Location is really perfect for my needs.the place is quiet and the staff are nice and try to help , the pool and the gym is really a plus , now they are giving a electronic card to go in and out with a deposit and I think it’s a great idea.

The beds are getting old and less confortable but still acceptable, balcony is for everyone but it’s a place that you can rarely go because it’s always full of smokers .Iff your à non smoker forget it . The rest is quite perfect .

I had to stay last minute, and they were super responsive! Space was clean and the beds felt private even with others sleeping there. I also had to get in super late and leave before regular check out time. They were super responsive through WhatsApp and got me checked in and out immediately. Bathroom is private and clean.

It’s a little far from the airport, but a good hostel still

Good structure, very close by train stations and Petronas Towers. The building has a a good basic gym and a beautiful pool. Always clean and confortable.

We have to get all way down and talk with the securities because the hostel's guest can't have a card to use the lift, so it's a little bit anoying that everytime that you want to go to the hostel you need to give your passapor information t in the entrance.

The beds has curtains so you have privacy. Also the bathrooms were nice (but often very wet). There’s a spacious locker! The staff was really friendly :)

Annoying that you have to show your passport and thereafter ask security to enter if you wanna go to the hostel.
