Golden Roof Hotel Ampang Ipoh

I never expected the hotel to be very nice with the cheap price I got for a last-minute booking. The front desk staff was very friendly and well-mannered and always picked up calls. The hotel have lift even though they have only 4 levels. They provided iron board and iron outside of our rooms and water filter so we could refill cold water as we wanted. Aaa loves it 😋 In our room, they provided a big mirror outside the toilet and in the toilet so we could use it at the same time, which is very convenient for us, have hair dryer and many plugs points to use also they have a lot of lamps which are in front door, toilet, both sides of bed frames, headboard bed frame and in the middle of room. They also have a lot of WiFi, but the coverage very slow, I hope you can improve the WiFi coverage.

The toilet was okay, but it needed some scrubs at every corner, and the aircond we chose 18°C but still not as cold as we wanted because it was too hot to handle the weather these days and leaking 😂

Easy to find, nearby with Canning. There are 7e, 99 Speedmart & mamak nearby. The surroundings to go to the hotel looks a bit scary since it's very dark, but once you reach the hotel block it's fine. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The parking is open space, no designated area. Since it's near the badminton court, at night the parking nearby hotel can be quite full, so you have to park a bit further. The room is not very clean, but comfortable enough.

All the facilities were absolutely amazing. Mineral water and towel for all guest capacity’s. Extra handkerchiefs for more hygiene. Soft bed and pillow. Television works fine. All clean including under the bed.

Hotel didn’t have any personal parking space. All the parking spot we’re sharing with other business societies. So you might be need to walk far away from the parking space.

near to every attraction places in ipoh. nice place to stay but a bit small for family with toddler. bed and pillow comfortable. water heater very good and functional pressure very good, aircond also works fine. can repeat next time

only one dustbin available inside bathroom. very small 1. cannot fit 2 pampers. luckily i bring my own plastic bag. no mini fridge, no electric kettle :( a bit hard if you travel with babies

The heater not functioning well .. hot and cold hard to control The switch of TV in room 134 have short circuit Pls fix it .. it quite dangerous The short circuit make our room light directly turn off There are no fix parking place available.. it will be more better if have way to reserve parking lot for customer

The room is clean and bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is also clean and have strong water pressure.

It is not quite clear how to use the shower tap, quite confusing. I also quite disappointed that the receptionist didn't really know about places to visit in Ipoh. At least the staff should know places to visit near the hotel when customer asked. I suggest the hotel staff (especially receptionist) to do some reading about Ipoh, that will be a great help to customer who are new in Ipoh.

I like the very clean toilet. Feels like in a 3 star hotel. I like the hot and cold water dispenser where we can get free flow drinks. The house keeping is also efficient with replacing towels and drinking water. The room is spacious. The lighting is good. The room smells nice too. Would definitely come back.

There should be at least an additional pillow for more comfort. Also, there should be some tea or coffee 3 in 1 packets in the room. Bigger table in the room in front of tv would be better

Room size: Family room. Came with 2 rooms and 1 living room spaces, 1 toilet. Wider spaces in own room. Good. Toilet cleanliness: consider good.

Staffs can be more friendly. Show welcoming of guests .

easy parking, easy checkin, pleasant and aesthetic looking lobby, looks professional and not scary. The room was nice, not too spacious but not too small either. i'm most impressed by the high quality toilet paper. high water pressure and aircond works very well. overall, its good for a short stay.

The view from the room was facing another building. The shower is leaking a bit. I feel like the room can be cleaner especially around the corners.

i'm very like the bed so comfortable and clean

the water dispenser so far from my location room and also very difficult to get in and out of the room just to take the hot water from dispenser. Btw next time can provided a kittle for each room.
