MU Hotel

Room & toilet - clean & tidy, this hotel has a good location. By driving car, we just took a few minutes to Tuck Kee, Onn Kee, Sin Eng Heong Biscuit shop, etc. Quite convenient. It also provided parking lot at basement level (first come first serve)

We hope hotel management may notify us regarding the false fire alarm before the action started. However, overall is quite satisfied while staying in this hotel.

We liked the modern facilities. We liked their FREE shuttle bus. We particularly liked the help and suggestions of Mr NAWRENCE.

Location - it's very near most delicacies/local souvenir shops. Standard Room - small but enough for 2 pax. The bed is so comfy that we were reluctant to leave the bed and comforter... Breakfast- not so much choice and very simple (since alot restaurants nearby) Their nasi lemak is always the best.

Parking - very limited parking at the basement (we can park around hotel also but prefer basement) Security - last time I used to see guards around hotel. This time I seem to not notice any. Would prefer if they station a guard at the entrance or lift entrance (even they use card system for the lift)

Simple hotel that does the job well. Our room was comfortable with a nice clean bathroom, good amount of space for luggage and good aircon. The breakfast was good with lots of options (including for vegetarians!) There is parking available for free, but even if you don't get a space there, you can park very cheaply all round the hotel. There are good places for food and coffee all round and convenience stores very close down. Although we didn't use it there's a shuttle bus available into town 3 x a day. They provided luggage storage (locked!) After our check out. The lobby is also big and spacious for waiting.

If i was to be very picky, I'd say complicated light switches in the bedroom,, but it's fine!!

i like the bed, pillow and bolster the most! omg, never had i been into even a 5 star hotel that provides bolster. my kids love them too. the room was really spacious with basic amenities. breakfast was good with egg station and noodle station and they hv different menu each day. it was only about 15-20mts to lost world of tambun. i really like that they have a very quiet room and soundproof. easy checkin and checkout.

limited basement parking but they have a lot of open free parking outside the hotel. that shd be ok.

Staff at check in counter is very polite and helpful. We arrived early at 1pm and she guided us with a map and provided water when requested. We managed to tour Ipoh town on foot while waiting for check in time at 3pm. We love the location. It's surrounded with many famous restaurants and biscuits. All on foot without driving out! We stayed in a 4 bedded room. It's spacious, super clean, quiet, comfortable and relatively new. A special mention on the yummy buffet breakfast. Although it's a small area but the spread was full fledge western and eastern combo. The waiters were also friendly. Food were replenished asap. Nice!

Parking is only one level on first come basis. Arrive early for parking if weekend. You can leave your car there and tour Ipoh on foot. Grab back if you have many goodies to carry. It's reasonable and fast.

A modern and clean hotel with spacious rooms. The location was excellent, within walking distance of several foodie hotspot. The hotel also provides free airport transfers and shuttle services to nearby local attractions. The shuttle driver, Khairy was friendly and accommodative. And the complimentary breakfast was sumptuous too. Highly recommended, and we are already planning to come here again soon. 👍👍👍

The view from the room shows the nearby houses with damaged roofs, but I'm just trying to find something not so nice, which is not easy. Perhaps the toilet paper could be of thicker quality.

we arrived early, and was greeted by a young lady, named should be Yi Ni(hope i get it right).She was friendly throughout my stays. Got a high floor room, views was good. Addy is another malay guy, who given me free ride around town, thank you too.Housekeeping was great, making my room daily. Other staffs are great too, keep it up!😊Will be back😍

i was disappointed whereby the Roof viewing area and bar was closed. According to the manager, only will be open for special function. May i suggest, why not open for a couple hours during sunrise and sunset, i believed the guests would love it😊, you will leave everyone happy memories😊😍

LOCATION is the best. Walking distance 5mins to almost all the famous shops Guan Heong, Sin Weng Fai, etc. Easy to find food. Walked about 25mins to the railway station, lots of things to explore along the way, murals, shops. Clean room and trendy decor. The staffs are approachable, helpful and respond to requests promptly. A shoutout to Addy who arranges shuttle pickup, is on time and so willing to bring us to the old town area and to share places to visit and eat. There is a sense of a hotel that puts customers first.

Overall a great stay! Nothing to fault, everything was as expected. Clean rooms with everything we needed, comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was also very nice, with a decent selection of items. The staff were very friendly also.

Nothing we didn't like. I'd highly recommend it! If I was being picky, rooms could've been a bit bigger, other than that, pretty much faultless. For the price, you really can't go wrong with staying here.
