Hotel Jurmala Spa

Really friendly staff, good food and spa was comfortable. Beautiful lobby, restaurant and spa area and the massage was really really good.

Hotel rooms were little bit old looking but it was clean and cleaners were really friendly as I asked some help with a/c device.

*Situated close to the beach and at the pedestrian zone with shops, restaurants and Cafes * View from 8th floor with a 4-5 m glass front and balcony, woods and sea view, exceptional (I recommend booking higher floors!!) *Fully equipped gym (not newest equipment, but all functional) *Spa (but beware: sauna customs lack any rules: people walk in and out, shoes on, talk, no towels, no showering before using bassins, a lot of kids all ages - if you find that annoying, you won't enjoy sauna and pools there) *Restaurant: Food was good, modern cooking and not pricy at all

*breakfast was only regular. Everything available but partly lower quality. *tiles in the bath were not so hygienic (I think natural stone is not a good choice for a hotel room and the bath was dark and humid) Note: It truly is a family hotel , for a couple's stay that might not be found to be ideal.

construction work’s started too early. Maybe you have to alert other people about it too. Also the massage is not worth the money- it felt nice, but according to my issues I chose the massage that could help me but at the same time it was an easy stroking and that made me sad. Music should be louder at massage rooms and maybe they should check out their interiors and ability to provide the best experience that also matches the product description. And of course, hotel worker (in beauty centre) should speak a little bit English for better understanding.

The staff was very friendly and easily communicated in two languages, switching between them during the conversation as needed (mine and my husband's native language is different). The SPA facilities and gym are excellent. Very much enjoyed buffet type breakfast - good variety of food!

The only downside to the hotel is the extremely uncomfortable double bed (unfortunately, this hasn't changed over the last 3 or 4 times we have stayed here). The upper mattress was too soft - it didn't support the body, we slept like in a vedge, and as a result, each morning woke with an unbearable pain both in neck and back. And here isn't a question of prefernece of how soft the mattress one likes - the problem is the fact that the double bed is actually made of two single beds put together and covered with a few centimetres thick roll-on mattress. The edge in the middle is very noticeable.

the location of the hotel is nice. quite. Breakfast selection was good.

the pillows in the room could be different firmness. there were not many vegan options at the breakfast. the Spa is technically included in your stay but there is a time restriction how long you can stay there. the early Spa visitors leave their towels on all loungers and deckchairs, so you can't really rest anywhere although nobody is actually there. it is more cost efficient to stay somewhere else and just visit this hotel's or any other hotel's Spa facilities.

Restaurant is renovated, new and very comfy. We have been travelling with a small kid and they had a kids corner in the restaurant which allowed parents to eat and watch their kids at the same time. The personnel at the restaurant was amazing - very polite, very understanding and patient, considering the mess small kids create usually :). Loved the pool area, they also had a 30cm deep pool for small guests which was amazing.

The rooms were not very clean and they kinda beg already for a renovation :) but overall our experience was very pleasant

Excellent location - probably the best in Jurmala. New well-renovated building. If you get a nice room (the higher floor the better) - you will get a sea view. Superb SPA facilities - saunas, pools, tropical shower is my fav. Decent SPA packages for extra charges. Nice personnel. If you want to have a dinner at the hotel, definitely recommend, great food quality.

- Breakfast is so-so, lack of Gluten Free options (almost none) - overall lack of choice for people with dietary preferences. If you eat everything, it's alright. Barista coffee is for extra charge. - Rooftop bar was closed all the time - it works only a few days a month, and if there's a wedding, you're not allowed to go there. - Be aware - there's a huge construction site next door to the hotel - if you are noise sensitive, might be an issue. For us it wasn't an issue. - Overall a bit pricy hotel.

Value for money paid for the offer we had :room+breakfast +Spa is amazing. Staff helpful and friendly. Especially Darja and Alina who was working night shift and quickly managed to move our room to a quiet floor because we couldn't sleep due to baby next door having fun with his parents at 12am. She moved us to a very nice and quiet room where we enjoyed the rest of our stay.

Surprisingly for the 4* hotel they didn't have tea and coffee amenities in the room. Everywhere in Europe even 3* hotels offer tea and coffee pot in the room. That was missing. However you can go to the restaurant and ask for a pot of hot water, unfortunately restaurant gets closed at 10pm. We came back to the hotel on a few occasions after 10pm and we wished we could have made a warm drink in the room. 6th floor appears to be quite noisy with thin walls. We had to move the room around midnight as 2 years old next door refused to sleep.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. Their spa facilities are amazing and the idea of serving beverages in the pool just blows my mind - a proper holiday feel for sure. The room was lovely, spacious and there were a couple of bottles of complimentary water on arrival - a small gesture, but it did make a difference.

Tea/Coffee facilities/Kettle in the room would have been great!

Fantatic wellness oasis area with a variety of saunas and the location is perfect. We think this is the best wellness area of all spa hotels in Jurmala. Breakfast is healthy latvian style buffee, very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We felt very uncomfortable with the SPA receptionist who ignored us when inqiring about Spa treatments. We were rudely told that she could not give us any information and that we had to find info on the Internet. Racism? We went to Lielupe Spa hotel to get treatments and haircut and they were very helpful and accomodating.
