Winery Hotel and Condominium HITOHANA

Overall our stay in Winery Hotel was good. We had 2 rooms for our adult family of 5. The bigger room was great as there is a little kitchenette, it is on the ground floor and we could open the windows Because we booked different type of rooms, the smaller room was on another floor. One thing that I have not seen in oter Japanese hotels, which I thought was good is the way the hotel maanged the usuage of the washing machines and dryer (guest have indicate their room numbers when using the machine and the reception will help manage if the guest does not come back in time). Though there are only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers.

Maybe it is a comparison to another hotel in Furano, I did find the breakfast spread quite limited and the space rather tight. And the free wine, is really just a very tiny cup (like a sample cup in the supermarkets), so it was not as I had expected "like a little happy hour corner".

This hotel was our best memorable stay in Japan. Together we our 2 young kids, we have been travelling in Japan for the past 3 weeks (and will be staying for another 2 weeks). This hotel has exceeded our expectations from the quick and smooth Check-in to the stay itself. We booked a large room for 4. The room is clean and big with a kitchen. We just to thank all the staff for their wonderful attention to create a memorable experience and help. Our youngest fall sick and the staff helped to contact the hospital and made the necessary taxi booking. We love the wine testing and cosy lounge. The free laundry machine was very helpful.

Nothing much, except that it might good to offer a wider menu for the dinner as after a long day playing with snow, it’s always nice to go back to the hotel for a nice dinner and enjoy the wonderful view.

From the moment we stepped in, we were treated with great service and hospitality which was great. All the staff were very helpful. We met with an accident while driving and all thanks to the staffs who patiently helped us report it with the car rental insurance and translated it for us as we had issue contacting them. Location is good and a short drive to the ski slopes. There are shuttle services if you do not drive as well. Lawsons and Seico mart is very near too so stocking up on grocery is easy. Breakfast spread is pretty good and we had great breakfast with snowy view every morning. Oh and one nice part is the wine tasting available daily. I have to say they have very good wines, worth a try. I will highly recommend the stay.

Carpark is a little further away and of course if it can be nearer it will be perfect.

Loved everything - location, views, walk to the gondola (or free hotel shuttle). Fantastic large room (Hollywood room). Highly recommend including breakfast buffet if not booking a room with a kitchen. Wine tasting was an awesome highlight at the end of the ski day!

The restaurant was closed for dinner once / maybe twice a week but it made us venture out and find some neat places with good food! Best to research and plan / know where to go and not be walking around in below zero temps trying to find a place to eat!

Japanese breakfast was great, lots of variety. Service excellent, very helpful, they provided a shuttle service to/from the bus stop and booked our dinners and taxi's. We arrived a few hours before our check in time and they were more than happy to store our bags and let us use the shower facilities. The inhouse onsen was great and they have a ski room to store equipment.

There is a lovely bar area with a fire place, but they said they don't turn the fire on which is a shame. Our beds were extra firm which my husband is fine with but I found them uncomfortable after skiing all day with achy muscles. The ATM is a 15min walk away.

Staff were friendly and could speak good English and assist with restaurant bookings and recommendations. Room and bed were a very good size. There were also complimentary drinks at the reception area (both wine and juice), as well as snacks. There was also a public bath and free communal laundry.

The breakfast variety could be more, and the laundry facilities could be upgraded (was a little old). The shower floor could also be warmer; it was quite cold when we bathed even though it's the beginning of summer.

Qing from the reception is Awesome - she is very attentive and remember every details Thank you so much for hosting us and ensuring our stay is personal and memorable ! We came as 2 families of 9 people from Singapore and she ensured our check in, booking, breakfast, ski gears keeping are done in efficient manners. Will definitely want to come back here again. Oh yes and not forgetting Kawamura-san who made our check out process and loading the luggages/stuff personal. Keep it up team !

The facilities were cosy and comfortable! Beds were soft and comfy. Rooms were clean and modern. There were free wine tasting and juices at the lobby which u can self help, the muscat juice is thirst quenching! We went to the winery to take a look after that and my son enjoy feeding the sheeps. The staff were helpful and polite, helping us to make restaurants reservations and giving appropriate recommendations as I am travelling with child. I like the breakfast very much as they prepare bite size items with a suitable size buffet spread!

The public bath is a little small and design is abit modern. But it still works for a boutique hotel like this. Carpark is a short walk 150m walk away from the hotel

I wish there were more hotels like this in Japan. It is modern and aesthetically pleasing, and the rooms are very well designed, spacious and well equipped. Beds were comfortable, with charging points right beside the bed. Shower and toilet are separate, and water pressure is very strong. Lovely good quality shower amenities are provided. The lobby area is very cosy, and wine + juice tasting is available (they are related to a Winery Domaine Raisson). The staff are from different parts of Asia so there is a wide range of language support. There is also complimentary washing machine and dryer facilities, as well as a public hot bath (not onsen/spring water).

The carpark is about 100m away, but it is free.

Great stay. Large rooms, especially for Furano area. Cosy lounge to relax in after a day of skiing, providing snacks, in house made wines and juices. The wines were good. Great breakfast mostly made with local produce. Almost all staff were courteous and helpful. It's nearly my new favourite place to stay in Furano.

The public bath was small and a little disappointing. Plus one big gripe: the hotel parking is a couple of minutes walk up the hill. It's not too bad but it's enough to put you off.
