Shin Furano Prince Hotel

Comfy beds that are great for recuperation from a busy active day in the snow. The room was very well insulated thus keeping a nice warm temperature despite the outdoor condition. Never did I see any crying windows in the morning! A lovely selection of tourist attractions just outside the hotel for non-skiiers. The Ningle Terrace, Kan Kan Mura, Morinotokei, etc...all make the stay enjoyable and special.

Since the establishment has been in business for a few decades now, the decoré looks a bit dated and finishing looks tired. Despite the hotel being relatively sizable, the lanudry space is very limited. It becomes somewhat of a problem if you are staying a few days and need to have some fresh clothes.

Excellent hotel, generous breakfast with a wide range of food options. Onsen in the hotel was excellent and very welcome after a day on the slopes. Ski in ski out with ski rental located inside the hotel. Fairly convenient to go to Furano by the bus as the bus stop is located outside tte hotel (the bus isn’t very frequent but that has nothing to do with the hotel). We had a very relaxing stay.

The decor of the room could be updated as others have said, but saying that it was very clean and very practical. We liked that the room itself was separated from the communal corridor with its own corridor to our vanity and bathroom. This meant the bedroom was more spacious

There was many things accessible like the niggle Terrance which was simply wonderful. The ski field was also amazing with the how spacious it was, there was also a souvenir shop that contains many items and snacks you can buy and bring home. Overall, the property was very clean, peaceful, and yet accessible to other places.

The parking lot was quite far from where the lobby is which might be difficult for some people to carry their luggages but overall it is very nice

My wife and I were at the Shin Furano Prince Hotel for 4 days of skiing. We were very pleased with the overall experience. Our room was comfortable and warm, with a lovely view of the slopes. The ski rentals and lockers were conveniently located on the ground floor, and the ski lifts were just outside. Transportation between New Chitose Airport and the hotel was easily arranged online. There was also a shuttle bus that goes into town every couple of hours, which was convenient when we wanted to go out to shop or dine. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the hotel's bakery/cafe was closed while we were there. It would have been nice to have somewhere to go for a good afternoon coffee after hitting the ski slopes.

Giving this property 10/10 because of the service we received for the breakfast and dinner buffets. We communicated with the hotel prior to our arrival regarding food allergies. They were extremely careful and accommodating. Chef H. Gunji and his team were exceptional and we appreciated the care, attention, and little touches that made our dining experiences all the more better. On top of that, the dining selection is vast and it was hard to choose what to eat each meal. Thank you again and we hope to come back soon!

Location was excellent for ski in/out. Fantastic set up with lockers on GF where you come in from a days skiing, provided for you to store skis, etc. wonderful having the Onsen which we frequented each morning and afternoon. We ate at various restaurants in the hotel and the food and service was excellent.

It would have been good for some restaurants to have a la carte instead of just set menus.

liked very much the walk at Ningle Terrace - romantic with snow falling . the whole place is magical and very instagrammable.

We went all the way to be able to ski. However, we were a little disappointed that we couldn't do any ski due to early closure of the ski lane at 3pm and that there isn't any night ski option during this period. It would have been nice to have night ski as well.

This was our 2nd time staying in the hotel. Great location close to Furano town, next to Ningle Terrace and Forest Clock Cafe which I like. Ski-in and -out is super convenience for the skiers. Front desk staffers were friendly and helpful.

It would be great if they had a shuttle bus running between the hotel and Furano town. There is only a local bus which has limited schedules in the afternoon/evening.

ski in-out and easy access to ski hire also is the best bit. rooms nicely maintained and nice views. onsen in hotel. staff nice and helpful.

restaurants in hotel can be booked out quickly. busses to town for more restaurant options are not that frequent. need to have cash everywhere on mountain and no ATM in hotel! so bring lots with you as a bit of a pain having to travel into town for more.

Ambience, Superb view, mental relaxation Special mention goes to the few lady Reception Staffs who professionally check us in and took extra attention to ensure my pre-purchased Shinkansen tickets (Hakodate Hokuto > Tokyo on 18 May 2023) were dutifully delivered to the hotel. kudos for the fine efforts. keep it up and we will be back soon
