Sorrento Rooms is a true gem close to the historic center in Sorrento! We loved that it was walkable from the marina (pro tip: take the elevator from the marina to the historic center, otherwise it is a tough uphill walk with a huge staircase). Don't be alarmed by the lobby of the building, which is a bit musty. Once you get to the second floor and into the Sorrento Rooms space, everything is meticulously clean and new. The room was tastefully decorated, with comfy beds and a nice large bathroom. The electronic blackout blinds on the windows were an unexpected nice touch. The staff was extremely helpful and kind to us, despite us being terrible guests (unintentionally). We lost our key card to the room and didn't realize it until 9:30pm when we were on our way back from a long day out. The owner responded promptly and was able to get us into our room without any wait whatsoever. Mario at the front desk was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and gave us great suggestions for places to eat in Sorrento.

The breakfast menu required that you choose a savory OR sweet main breakfast item--it would have been nice to be able to have one of each.

The place is in a perfect location, few minutes walking from the center of Sorrento, 15 minutes from the Marina. It is extremely clean. The room was not big but with balcony and good enough for 2 people for a long weekend. Check-in, check-out and communication was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

In general, nothing negative to say. The only minor negative comment is that breakfast was scheduled at 8am (you get to schedule your preferred time), but ended up being later at 8:20. This was not a big deal for us but punctuality might be important for people who have a to leave at a certain time. It didn't matter to us.

amazing location, just 3 minutes from the main town of Sorrento. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was really nice and the room was clean and serviced daily. GianMario was helpful when we arrived and gave us some tips about visiting Sorrento. we also had his WhatsApp abs we were able to contact him directly if there were any issues

There is currently a lot of construction work happening right outside the building and the property is on a busy street so it was quite noisy at times. Because Sorrento Rooms is an apartment converted into a B and B, you can hear everything from the common area when you are in the room. The wifi was also changed during our stay and when we asked the host we had trouble trying to connect to the new wifi (it was changed but we were not notified until we asked)

We arranged a pick up from the airport which was all organised by Sorrento Rooms and brought us right to the door where we were greeted by Gian Mario who was an exceptional host. On arrival he provided us with a map of Sorrento together with recommendations for restaurants and things to do/see - all were well worth the visit! He also gave us tips on the best and most cost effective methods of transport to use to visit other destinations along the coast. A limited breakfast was on offer which was more than adequate to set us up for the day. The accommodation is in an excellent location and just 5 minutes from the Main Street. Gian Mario also arranged our transport by bus back to the airport. Would definitely recommend Sorrento Rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay at this accommodation, the room was super clean and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed. We absolutely liked the modern bathroom with mood lighting. The location was perfect as well, just a short walk (5 min) to the city centre (Corso Italia, with shops and restaurants, etc), the train/bus station is also not far away, the port is about a 15 min walk. There’s also a small grocery store nearby. Our host, GianMario was wonderful, extremely friendly, and always ready to help you. The communication with him was quick and easy. He provided us with lots of useful and valuable information, and kindly allowed us to store our luggage a couple more hours after check-out which we appreciated a lot. Breakfast was nice, optionally served in the room or on the lovely terrace. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommended!

Nothing, everything was fine.

The room was extremely clean and well maintained. There was a cleaning lady coming everyday. The owner of the place was very helpful, gave us all the information we needed. The apartment is located in the residential area ( note that navigation takes you to a wrong building. You need to look for laundry and fruit shop) It is within walking distance to the Main Street and beach( note that public beaches are tiny and in order to get to a private one you need to book in advance). Has great places to eat nearby - seafood downstairs is great. Pizza place going left and then right is great too. For best gelato you need to go to via Fuoro :)

It met all of our expectations, service was excellent and our lovely host Mario made our stay superb! The rooms were well equipped, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was very good and a nice terrace to chill on. Location is great and the accommodation was perfect for our group. Mario booked transports and boat trips for us which were amazing. We will definitely come back!

The location of Sorrento Rooms was perfect; it was close to town but far enough that it was quiet at night. We loved our host, Gianmario! He was very accommodating and gave us the best insider tips about transport, food etc. Every morning he would make us breakfast and chat; it was lovely. The best host we’ve had in Europe so far!

The bed/pillow were a little hard and uncomfortable.

Mario was very nice and and caring! I feel very warmly welcomed and breakfast was good. really got a lot of help from him to know all local area, and he gave us very good advice on emergency situation as well. also all tour I booked through him was amazing! very tidy and clean rooms, and good location as well. very close to station, and central area. more than perfect⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great communication, we could whatts app host which was good. We were given advice and tips about visiting the area and places to eat The room was just as lovely as pictured. Breakfast had lots of choice and was yummy We very much enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer
