Comfort Hotel Gardenia Sorrento Coast

The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the main squares. The staff were all friendly and gave advice about tours and restaurants. The swimming pool was great to have after a hot walk and there is a rooftop terrace with gorgeous views. Breakfast in the hotel was lovely with a great selection of hot and cold food. The restaurant in the town that is owned by the family has amazing pasta dishes - worth a visit. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Sorrento.

The property was fantastic! They accommodated us last minute, allowed us to use the pool before and after check in/out, and were so helpful with anything we needed! I would absolutely go back and stay at the same hotel next time we visit Sorrento. 10/10 experience.

There wasn't anything I would have improved with the hotel!

We like everything about the hotel. The staff were so helpful, the room was excellent, comfortable bed and great shower room. The hotel was very clean. We loved the fact the hotel had a pool that we used everyday. The hotel was a short walk from Sorrento old town and the hotel also helped us with excursions. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice and very helpful staff. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel had some traffic noise but that was to be expected situated on the main road into town. However, when you shut your windows we could not hear any real noise so for us it was not a problem.

we thought the hotel was wonderful! it’s a small family run establishment and is charming in every way. The family rooms are small but have everything you need for a comfortable stay and spotlessly clean. The staff are very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is delicious and they offer a huge variety. The pool area is also very good. it’s run independently from the hotel but staff are nice and lots of variety for lunch, so you can relax there all day when having down days from excursions. It’s a 10 minute walk to the train station/bus station. We took the train from Naples to Sorrento and back, it’s 3.90 euros each one way which is very cheap. We visited the Amalfi one day and the bus was 10 euro each return. The bus ride itself is an experience. We’ll definitely be returning to Gardenia hotel in future.

Hotel Gardenia was in an excellent location not far to main square , walking distance to train station and restaurants . The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lovely clean rooms, cleaned daily, great breakfast options , would definitely return to Gardenia and recommend it to friends.

I visited here from 9-25-23 to 9-29-23 with my wife. We are Americans, and we are both 36. The room was large enough to not be squished, but it was just still a little smaller than I hoped for. It did have a nice balcony, but it was not private because the balcony in the room next to you could see you. The room was cleaned nicely every day for when we came back from our activities. The gym facility was excellent, absolutely enormous, and shared with another hotel. The free breakfast every morning was also excellent with many, many choices, and available as early as 630am if you needed it, but officially 7. Air conditioning and free WiFi, both of which are MUSTs for me, worked well.

The pool itself was cold, disappointingly not heated. Be ready to pay some silly cash tax on the way out. It is a 12-20 minute walk from any of the good activities (ports, beaches, etc.) and the good restaurants.

Beautiul location and easy to reach via public transport. The hotel is far away from the city centre that you are able to avoid the noise of the street and the flocks of tourists coming to the main sites. The staff is really helpful and having an access to a pool is tremendously helpful if you don't have any planned activities or want to chill for the rest of an evening. The breakfasts have a very good variety of food for every taste and palate. The staff is really helpful and always available whenever there is need to.

There is very poor noise cancellation throughout the hotel so its very easy to hear people on the hallways and even to the rooms next door. The cleaning staff doesn't have a regular rotation so it is difficult to know when can you get your room cleaned. The extra charge for parking your car should either be included in the final price or removed and added as an ammenity to separate the hotel from others.

We absolutely love this fantastic family run hotel. The owner and staff make our stay a memorable one. The breakfasts are fantastic. You have a variety of continental and cooked, including salads and fruit. The homemade pastries are to die for. We received a sutprise bottle of prosecco and fruit plate on arrival as we are returning guests on many occasions. Our room was very clean and comfortable with fab views of the bay. We are looking forward to returning to The Gardenia in the near future and looking forward to seeing the owner and his brilliant staff

Everything was perfect

Hotel in a very good location, 10 minutes walk from the city centre and bus and train station. Very nice and friendly staff, delicious breakfast and lots of good cake which is baked on site at the hotel. The room was large, quiet and cleaned every day.
