TH Courmayeur

The Staff were excellent - friendly, polite, efficient. The spa facilities were well above expectation (large Sauna, 2 steam rooms, several ‘ice/cold’ shower, refreshments and relaxation rooms (bring a swimming cap and flip-flops as they are required (available for an additional charge). The breakfast was good quality with wide selection of recently cooked or fresh food. On occasions there was a ‘special’ option (such as pancakes) cooked at another station. Food was spread across two rooms. Staff were attentive, and cappuccino (and other types) were delivered extremely quickly The hotel provided a free shuttle to the nearby lift during morning and afternoon hours - this worked very well. The lift is a short walk along a fairly quite but major road to this facility was welcome. There are ski and bike rental facilities on site. We didn’t spot this facility, and used the rental at the top of the lift - this was excellent, and stored ski/boots at the station which was very convenient.

The hotel lived up to the pictures, however it is between two roads so worth bearing in mind if planning to walk to the village with young families. This is clear on the map when booking and the hotel price takes account of this so still good value for money. Dinner at the hotel was a buffet (extensive) with several freshly cooked local options. We chose B&B so we could try other restaurants. It would have been helpful to have an ‘a la carte’ or cheaper option for lighter dinner at the hotel.

Beautiful, modern, big room & bath. Desk space , mini frig. Well- located outlets for electronics. Multi- language tv. Big balcony view to mountains & glaciers. Good breakfast. Strong wifi.

6th floor room stayed at 80 degrees F unless I kept balcony door open. Staff did not attempt to fix it. Lots of car & truck traffic approaching Chamonix tunnel made room noisy with door open. Complicated to schedule access to pool. Fee charged for required outfit for pool access. Need more parking spaces.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. The view of Mont Blanc from our balcony was stupendous

The food in the dining room both at breakfast and dinner was subpar. We were especially disappointed with our dinner meal. We chose to eat from the menu instead of the buffet and were told to go get our selections from the buffet. Many items we had ordered were missing from the buffet and the service staff had no way to make substitutions. A very bad system and our meal was very expensive

Nice buffet breakfast, our room was great, high ceilings, nice shower and big bathroom. The spa was amazing and well kept, clean and the staff there were very nice. Great to have the ski rental in the hotel too.

Too many kids in the pool. Dinner buffet was a bit disappointing however the pasta from the a la carte was good. There was not room service and the choice of food from the bar which we could take up to the room was not goo, just a couple of sandwiches.

The hotel has great facilities and excellent service. Everyone was very attentive. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The half board dinner was really good and the waiters were all very helpful with allergies and intolerances.

The transportation provided to the closest ski lift could ran a bit longer in the mornings and start pick up slightly earlier in the afternoon as you have to wait until 3.30 pm to catch the first ride back. Also, the information about the ski passes that we got at the hotel was not as detailed as it could have been.

Really nice and spacious rooms. Really helpful and lovely staff. Good breakfast. For skiing: convenient ski hire on basement and quick transfer to Val Veny lift included.

Pools (plunge inside, spa outside) only open from 3. (They’re not for swimming btw). Location is far from Courmayeur town and there are no buses after 6pm. If you haven’t rented a car, taxis are quite expensive and hard to find. Entreves village is walkable though.

Location is good for 1 lift, rooms are good standard and the spa was nice.

Breakfast quality was poor and minimal selection compared to other hotels. Bar lacked any atmosphere. The hotel really needs to run shuttles to and from the main part of town, taxis are not in abundance and it's a 30min walk each way

great location ,very attentive staff who were always there and very helpful, very good quality food in the restaurant and reasonably priced breakfast also very nice ,

The air-conditioning in the room was more or less non-existent, probably turned off to save electricity. My friends room was exactly the same had to spend the whole night with the patio door open, which was very noisy. 

Rooms were clean, newly fitted out with great bathrooms and good facilities. Evening meal Service was great and I was surprised with the standards and also the change of menu each evening was a nice touch. The spa facilities were really well appointed and nice to use after a day skiing

Room temperature could be a bit hot at night and an iron in the room would be nice

rooms clean and spacious, bathroom is amazing although don’t understand the tap on the side of a sink, the view is gorgeous, it is very near by Skyway - must do! breakfast was excellent

that the pools and spa are 2 different places and reservations - never seen that before hence didnt know that! but there r little snacks in the spa which is amazing
