Hotel Maison Saint Jean

The room was very clean and the toiletries were of high quality (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, soap). Good hair dryer. I had a small balcony that was nice. Bed was comfortable with nice linens. The location was great. Just a short walk to the bus stop - I rolled my suitcase up the hill with no problems. Also, easy walk to the start of many hiking trails.

I thought the restaurant was dark, gloomy and expensive. I ate elsewhere in the town. But most restaurants in Courmayeur are expensive so be prepared. There was a small grocery store right across the street where I bought yogurt, buns, meat and cheese and made my own lunch.

Beautiful building with a wonderful, central location. Excellent breakfast! Gracious, accommodating host. Sitting on our room’s patio and taking in the view was a perfect welcome to the Alps. We appreciated the ability to check in late and to store our luggage there for the duration of our Tour du Mont Blanc hike.

The rooms can get a bit stuffy on hot days. Hours for the pool/spa were very limited, which was a bit of a disappointment.

The hotel is a good value for its price. There is a nice upscale restaurant with a fireplace on the premises. The personnel is very helpful. The rooms (in December) were well insulated and heated; the temperature was easy to control. The bathroom equipment was new and super clean. The shower water pressure was strong. The rooms were cleaned regularly. The lobby is comfortable to hang out. The city outside is quiet at night. The breakfast is abundant and the coffee is strong.

I believe it's a great option especially in off-seasons. Reasonably priced, though I can imagine high seasons might be different. The room was comfortable and clean. Their lobby is decorated very nicely and should be even more beautiful in winter.

The shower did not have a booth but a blind curtain...? I did not quite understand this system since the bathroom was flooded each time I took a shower. The curtain can't prevent such a flood and I think it makes more sense to have a glass booth.

The staff are lovely and very accommodating. The location is great. The bar is very cosy. Breakfast was perfect with a nice selection and delicious scrambled eggs!

2 minute walk to the bus place. super convenient. nice and clean room. the owner is very friendly and responsive (good English). There’s a restaurant adjacent. breakfast is included (I only made it once during my stay and I was very satisfied with the food option). i cannot recommend more.

ideal location near the centre of. beautiful Courmayeur. Traditional charm in the interior and very comfortable, stunning and large bedroom with balcony

having to pay to use pool/spa area is never appreciated is it! breakfast was just ‘ok’ in terms of choice

Location is great, not in the main road but just 3 minutes away.

Breakfast was good...but feeling observed all the time by the waiters....a bit intimidated

Bed could be bigger. Swimming pool water was too hot, we had to leave despite the hour reserved and the 10€ paid per person.
