The location, in a lovely square full of restaurants and bars. Only a 5 minute walk from the Lake and main station. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Anita and Francessca on the main reception desk. They went over and above the call of duty, allowing us to keep our bottles of prosecco.in the hotel's fridge and they also supplied an iron and board. They were always extremely pleasant and very helpful too. The room was modern with an extremely comfortable bed and a nice big window. Just a couple of extra plug sockets would have been useful but other than that it was perfect.

great location; right in the center and a cat‘s stroll away from the train station. Great beds with high quality beding and linen.

Room right above the bar is during summer months a nightmare since the loudspeakers are placed just underneath the windows. We had to change rooms after miserable fist night. 2nd and 3rd floor are safe in that regard. Breakfast cannot be expected - only coffee and sweets. Unfortunately, Breakfast culture is pretty unknown in Italy in general so no blame for that as we knew it and did not except too much. I think that Hotel Mgt and Restaurant Mgt do not belong to the same party. It‘s pity with regard to the fact that you always have to pay directly and cannot put it to the bill.

Unfortunately I only stayed for 1 night, not much for a super review. But the hotel was well located, in the center and next to the ferry/boat departure, on the ground floor there is a very cozy restaurant/bar, including where breakfast (which I didn't try) is served, paid separately.

The only inconvenience is that the reception is only open from 2pm to 9pm, and you cannot check in or check out outside this period.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The location is superb, just 5 mins from the lake with plenty of restaurants on the doorstep. We had a superior twin room with a balcony and loved it. The staff were very friendly, especially Anita, who went out of her way to make our stay a memorable one.

The only issue we had, and it didn't spoil our holiday at all, was that the bathroom flooded each time we had a shower. It was set up as a wet room and needed mopping up with towels after each shower.

Room on the top floor was quiet, large, very comfortable. Lots of light but shades worked well to let us enjoy sleeping in a little on vacation. Staff was very nice and helpful. Great breakfast at the restaurant on property. Location on the main Piazza in Como was terrific!

Last hike up to the room was stairs, elevator didn’t reach the top floor. Also there are so many light switches and operations (For skylights) that it was hard to figure out how to turn lights on/ off.

The hotel is in a brilliant location in Como. A short 5 min walk from the San Giovanni train station and only 2/3 minutes from the lake where you can get ferries to Bellagio etc. The hotel is also beside a lovely piazza which is nice for dinner/drinks but isn't too loud at night (our room was on the fourth floor). The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was good. I was happy I chose this hotel for our trip.

Great service, delightful room and that shower...oooh it was like a deep tissue massage every morning! Lovely staff and great location too. Best place I’ve stayed in Como thus far.

Not sure I’d want to be in a balcony room when it’s peak season busy out in the square. Was a bit noisy in the hallway late in to the night, did have trouble sleeping at times, would benefit from better soundproofing the room doors/entrances.

Great room, great location. We also liked the modern decor and the architecture of the building. The view from our room towards Brunate was fabulous. The air conditioning worked very well.

Breakfast options in the bistro were limited, but it wasn’t a big problem.

Conveniently located just a short 10 min walk from San Giovanni train station. Helpful restaurant staff to store luggage when we arrived before check in. Attentive front desk staff and excellent communication prior to our arrival.

It’s on a busy, lively square so it can be a little noisy.

The shower was hard to turn on, very stiff, too many small plastic shampoo bottles, no receptionist available till 2 pm led to queues forming
