That there was a swimming pool and that furniture given were acceptable. We had a joyful vacation in the hotel and it was a pleasure to stay there in hotel aurora.
There was nothing we disliked in the hotel it was the best expirienced hotel we had ever stayed in before.

The room was big and clean. From the balcony above the garage there was a nice view on the mountains.
We chose this hotel becouse in the description it has an outside swimming pool with a heated water. Actually the swimming pool is in the restaurant at the other side of the street with pretty high traffic not in the hotel, it s not the property of the hotel and you are supposed to pay 10 EUR per person for a sunbed. The water was freezing, no heating.

It is writen they speak english, but from english they only know three words: cash or card?! The price is too much for what they give.

The pizzeria over the road is v good. Staff were uncomplicated and frankly for the price, you can’t complain! Breakfast actually okay.
So it’s pretty run-down and needs some love. The pool was closed (no explanation).

None of the staf spoke english Had to turn in my key when I went to town and had to be in before midnight because they just closed. First thing when unpacking I put my book on the table and a lamp fell apart. Window closures were broken so couldn't open them for fresh air. Electric cover duct-taped to the wall. Boiled eggs at breakfast were definitely not fresh, which is not expensive to actually do. Breakfast only had 1 kind of white bun.

I would go back to Chiavenna but not this hotel. Our room was something out of the sixties. The air conditioning was turned off already in September so we had to risk mosquitos for fresh air. It took ages to find the toilet flush which was a button on the floor, I have only seen that before in caravans. The pool closes at the end of August, the only reason we booked this hotel in the first place! Difficult to open the doors onto our...balcony.
