Novotel Goa Resort & Spa

I'm so happy that we chose this hotel for our first family holiday with our 2 kids! My parents accompanied us on this trip as well. Since day 1, everything was nothing short of amazing. The rooms could have been a bit bigger and more modern but we all managed to get few nights of comfortable sleep. They were clean and had all amenities, just need a little lift up I feel! The resort itself is beautiful, lots of scenic things and very Bali-like indeed! The pool was great, though a little cold at first, we spent hours poolside with our toddler and baby! The staff was a highlight, along with the food they serve at their breakfast and dinner buffet service. Everything was so delicious, I ate way more than I needed to! My kids loved the food too, the staff ensured they were catered to and had the right kind of food to eat. They always went one step above to make sure we were comfortable with the kids and were simply so professional. I can't rate this resort more highly and can't wait to be back!

Rooms could be bigger!

The property is lovely, clean and hygienic. However, some activities like cycling, were shut. The staff was very polite and friendly. Overall, enjoyed our stay :D

The AC in the room kept switching on at random intervals. We kept the balcony door open and felt it was a waste of electricity if the AC randomly switched on. The moisture from this activity kept our room floors wet which was risky since it was slippery.

The hotel offers a wonderful classy ambience and everything is spic and span. Loved the pool and the landscaping around that area - think it's the highlight of our stay at this hotel. The in-house spa offers wonderful treatments that one can unwind with The breakfast buffet was elaborate and tasty The resort is located in the heart of Candolim which makes it easy to access

1. Our check in was quite chaotic.. there were several check ins at the same time and there was no warm welcome or guidance on what needed to be done. Once we were seated at the front desk, things did move pretty quick 2. We had to wait for quite some time for our bags to be brought up to our rooms after we checked in 3. Similarly, when we checked out, we waited for quite some time for someone to come and take our bags down to the lobby and then again, ended up doing it ourselves as we were wasting time waiting

Everything from the start to end was exceptional. The courteous and pleasing staff ensured we were pampered to the core. They went over and beyond to make us comfortable. It would be unjust to not name the stalwarts, namely Prachi from reception, Sanjib, Nupur and Subhadra from the restaurant, Nandan from housekeeping and not to forget the amazing blokes, Francis and Melroy from the bar. These folks were absolutely amazing and Novotel is lucky to have them. 10 stars to these folks.

The place is fabulous

Very well maintained. Chef Pradeep and Rahul looked after us so well. Hats off to them. One of the group members was vegan… everyday they’d ask the member and fresh food that was vegan. Food was so amazing too. Other staff members who looked after us were Vaibhav, Prasenjit, Shubhanker and Shailendra. I’m sure there will be more but can’t recall the names. Wishing you all the well and thanks once again for your hospitality.

The manicure pedicure booked at the spa was not a great experience. Yes they sorted out the price but it was disappointing to receive such service.

Excellent breakfast (Very nice spread catering to different cuisines and also very tasty), very comfortable room (Very Well maintained nd special thanks to housekeeping staff sudhanshu for ensuring neatness) and well maintained pool (seen team constantly ensuring the cleaning is being done. Falguni was very courteous in greeting everyone during the breakfast.

Value for money in In Room Dining. Prices quite high and the portion size small. We had ordered french fries and 2 glasses of fresh lime soda and were charged INR 817. With the french fries portion being small this was not all all justified.

Loved the ambience and the facilities offered by the hotel. Swimming pool is located at excellent place.

The pool tiles need to be replaced. At some places the tiles were coming out and the edges and corners were sharp. There was a group retreat of Meyer's Cellage, they jumped upon the breakfast spread as if they will not get it again. Despite giving them a designated place to sit and eat they encroached upon the place assigned for the hotel guests. The Management should take care of the same. A humble request that whenever retreats from corporate houses are held, kindly assign a designated place and a separate area for the spread, so that other guests are not disturbed.

We had lovely and very comfortable stay at the hotel. We had breakfast included in our booking and I must they have the most delicious breakfast and very good variety. I'm strictly vegetarian and I relished on very delicious vegetarian breakfast. We had requested for twin bed which was instantly arranged for us. The property is very safe for only female tourists also as I was on vacation with my teenage daughter and I was little apprehensive initially for the same. But I felt absolutely safe and the staff is also very courteous and friendly. The staff also guided me about the activities that we could do. I would definitely recommend the hotel to my friends and relatives. Value for money and walking distance from beach is an add on. Keep up the excellent service!!

The size of the room was smaller than I thought of when I checked the same online. Also the bathrooms don't have closed bath area which is very common these days.

#Location is good, from supermarket to fine dining, ATM, beach everything is in walkable distance, # Staff is actually very nice they were nicely trained and have good gesture. #service of staff in the breakfast area is good

Breakfast is good. There is nothing that I want to complain about. Maybe it's just my personal opinion... but I feel the Breakfasts menu is almost kind of similar every day

Great place - my second visit in 5 months. The facilities are good, pool is well maintained and staff is very friendly. The property has a very positive vibe.

You call their board number/ reception (before check-in) - and sometimes you have to make 5 attempts before someone picks up. They fail to make note of messages sent via email or booking.com and call you for the same thing multiple times. But once you are in - things are okay. The staff takes good care of you. Menu (breakfast+ dinner) was good during my visit in August but average during my trip in December.
