Novotel Goa Candolim

During our stay, we booked three rooms for ourselves and friends, and to our pleasant surprise, we were all upgraded for free, enhancing the comfort of our experience. The rooms were impeccably maintained, and the breakfast spread was excellent. The hotel staff was friendly and contributed to our enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

On the downside, the view from our balcony was less than desirable, overlooking a nearby house or guesthouse. Additionally, we found the taxi services outside the hotel to be comparatively expensive when compared to those from similar establishments.

Really liked how the whole building looked. There's a very tropical ambiance going on about. The service is also amazing. We had a room problem because there was suddenly a bad smell in the room, and the staff did excellent job in resolving it. They mad sure we were comfortable in the new room, and compensated us through giving us transportation the next day when we had to go to my friend's wedding location.

The breakfast buffet could be better. Not entirely bad, but perhaps it's just my lack of knowledge on indian breakfast food. :D

We visited Goa for a short stay, one week, to see family following a bereavement. After having difficulty in the hotel providing us with a room, which was really not quite ready - we needed to wait 6 hours, having arrived at the hotel early in the morning well in advance of the check-in time, the hotel manager kindly provided us with room to freshen up and to grab a few hours of sleep. Most grateful for this gesture as nearly all the rooms were full booked. Once we were given our room near to check in time (3pm), the hotel staff made our transition to the new room seamless and we enjoyed our stay in the allocated room, which was a luxury double bedroom. During our stay, we managed to eat breakfast, lunch (a la carte) and dinner in the hotel's dining room. I must say all the restaurant staff went out of their way to help us and provide us with food which was off the menu! Halfway during our stay, both my better half and myself suffered from a cold and flu like symptoms (not Covid - we did test) and 2 members of the restauarant staff made us a local "Todi" to ease our pains. I must say this was a magic portion and within 24-48 hours we were feeling better. So a Special Thanks to the restaurant staff, Siddesh, Asim, Riyal and Mark for your great hospitality, friendliness and understanding of our dietary demands and of course for making us feel better following a brief bout of illness! A truly great team, even accommodating my requirement to watch England v USA at 12,30am local time in Goa. Well done guys!

The suite room has a good layout with the sleeping and bath area being on the mezzanine. The restroom is very big with a good layout. It has both a shower cubicle and a tub. The ground floor of the room has a day room / home office kind of layout where one can work, meet or entertain people without compromising the privacy of the sleeping area. The bed is big enough for three adults and the couch can accommodate another adult. The food choice of the buffet breakfast is good.

Extra bedsheets and pillows were not provided in the room by default even though the hotel knew that a family of four would be checking in. These were however supplied promptly upon request. The hotel is located in a densely populated area and as such the view from the rooms is nothing to talk about.

I liked everything!

Overall Staff and there good attitude,quickness and responsiveness. morning buffet menu, quality and readiness. Head chef was courteous enough to talk to guest and take feedback if any. Well organised. Also i liked mgmt decision of including specially abled people as staff. I was impressed with that take.

In room dining price. I am fine to pay heavy price as it's become a norm now everywhere but atleast quantity should be taken care off. 600 inr for 2 cups of tea and that smallest size cup like French drink their black coffee in..we are indians and you should understand we drink good amount tea in one cup.same with food we ordered. Quality was good but quantity i seriously Laughed when it was served. also facility wise it does give you premium feeling like you are in a 5 star property as Novatel brand is. So felt disappointed.

Everything! From Front desk to room service , food to smiling restaurant staff valet to security guards and what not ? Everything was exceptional and excellent 👌 It was my husband's bday and Novotel made it so beautiful 😍(thx for the most yummiest and freshly baked cake ) wish I could mention all the names whom I have met in hotel to thank them for their remarkable services, but to name a few Mr.azith /Ajith for helping us in all possible ways he could , Restaurant - Chef Amulya - Pratibha , Babu ,Mohit , Riaz and many more for making our stay very beautiful and memorable 🤗 ❤️ (Travelled with a toddler and an infant )

1.Staff attitude is excellent....they are a good team.. 2.Food served in buffet and ala carte , both found to be excellent. 3. Rooms are very spacious....pool facing ones are great. 4. Overall good value for money if you take a package with lunch or dinner.

Rooms and furniture can be given a fresh feeling.... 1. Wallpapers in rooms can be redone 2. Floors need to be wiped regularly with some citric acid to ensure rooms have a fresh smell as opposed to a dampened smell. 3. Put strict measures for guest to wear swimming costumes.......not t shirt or salwars in pool. 4. A shuttle service to candolim Beach is highly needed.

We enjoyed our stay with Novotel Candolim. We had 3 rooms and they were as described. The luxury rooms do need a little sprucing up given the hefty price tag. The staff were great. We were offered early check-in (as had a 7 month old with us). The pool staff were very good including kids club staff. Lots of activities for kids (please consider some free activities too as paying for each one becomes excessive). Good pool with slides. Housekeeping staff were also good. In hotel dining is expensive. Breakfast selection is good and we went at a less busier time so no complaints. Overall had a pleasant stay and will return.

Luxury rooms need an update especially bathroom areas as expensive room but some parts are dated & not worth the price.
