It was a very large, comfortable double bed with plenty of pillows which meant we slept brilliantly. There was a handy notebook telling is some of the best places to shop for groceries or where to go for some lunch as well as telling us important information about the apartment. A huge plus was that we got upgraded to a larger studio apartment which was brilliant. The building is set a 15 minute drive south of downtown Reykjavik in the suburbs of the city which was a brilliant location for a little more peace whilst still being close to the action. A main supermarket was located a 1 minute drive from the apartment so it is great for getting groceries. The apratment also has a Deli beneath it and a fast food place across the road. Our apartment was on the corner of the top (6th) floor with large windows all along so we had amazing views out over the sprawling suburbs of the city. The facilities were good with kitchenette having a small dishwasher, two induction hobs, a microwave, a sink, a Dulce Gusto coffee machine and plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment. The bathroom was very nice with a large sink, a good toilet and a pretty powerful shower. Soap and a shower wash was provided along with towels, flannels, bath mat, hand drying towels, toilet roll, tissues and a hairdryer. Part way through our week stay the apartment was cleaned and the towels and sheets were changed which was great. Also the car park was virtually empty all the time and there is no charge so it is very easy to park your car right outside. The stay was amazing and we would very much recommend Icelandic Apartments to anyone planning a stay in or around Reykjavik.
It's not anything bad but just a couple things worth knowing. The bed had a sort of firm foam divider in the centre almost as if it were to singles put together so you could still kind of move over it or lie on it but it just meant once you were going to sleep you had to be off on your own side of the bed so couldn't be that close to your partner. For us it was no issue and I think it meant we got good sleep during holiday which was important since we had lots of things to get out and do. Also just be aware if you are planning on cooking for yourself, there may not be an oven. There wasn't one in our apartment although that's not to say they aren't in other ones. Also you can still cook plenty without an oven.

The property is in an excellent clean neighbourhood couple of miles from the city centre, there is a supermarket and restaurant nearby (2 min walk) from apartment. We had a car hence it was more comfortable to commute for food ( subway, KFC and many places )and neighbouring places. Due to the landscape and windy conditions you have to be prepared anywhere in Iceland and it applies here too for taking buses etc. There is enough parking, facilities are great and good scenery if you are staying in the top floors. The correspondence with the team is excellent on entry process, passcodes and contacts etc. Overall it is worth the money as I have visited during April timeframe.
I can’t think of anything, only thing I have noticed is that there is only one bin for all the wastes hence segregation is not possible unless you really want to do, hence a sustainability aspect needs to be looked but this is a not a problem at all for the visitors.

Very clean and comfortable apartment, with all the necessary amenities, located just close enough to the center of Reyjkavik to reach most city locations in 10 minutes, and far enough for quiet nights and free parking. There is a supermarket, a bakery, and 2 cafes within 2 minutes of the building. Couldn't be more convenient. It was very easy to reach their office when needed, and they were extremely helpful--particularly with helping us checking in early. The cleaning staff is very good and friendly. There was ample bedding, towels, tableware, and the ability to ask for more if needed. Great wi-fi connection and smart TV with all the streaming channels. We were on the 6th floor and the beautiful view was a plus! Overall we enjoyed our week there. The studio felt like a safe heaven after busy site-seeing days. We've had bad air B&B experiences over the years, and this apartment was a step up from most places. More space than hotels and the ability to make your own breakfast, spotless, with a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. Highly recommend.

Good for parking and clean enough.
Finding out how to access another clean towel was hard but should have visited the laundry room. On my 8th night I drove back to park but found fire engines on the scene and police after a fire. Had to wait outside for two hours with little information at all and smoke got in the building after a shop underneath was burnt out. Having to worry about being safe on the last night but the room was smoke free and just on checking out alll the smoke smell in the front entry hall was bad and outside from the fire scene and burnt out furniture.

The price can't be beat and you get so much for what you pay! You get a whole apartment to yourself, which includes a fully functioning kitchen (so you can save money on food by cooking some yourself) and even laundry room available. The laundry room is on the 2nd floor of the building and is free, we had had to get some detergent. The apartment is a small studio but is perfect for both short and long stays. It has everything you might need: kitchenware with pots, pans, coffee maker, cutting board, dishsoap, salt, pepper, cooking oil, sugar and even teabags; shampoo and conditioner are provided in the bathroom. Our stay was for 7 days and we're so happy with Icelandic Apartments we're going to only stay here next time we visit Reykjavik. We asked if we could check in early and were allowed to check in 2 hours in advance - thank you! There's a cafe 5 minutes away and Bonus grocery store across the street. Parking is free and ample. Very quiet, we could not hear neighbors at all. There's an elevator in the building in case you have heavy luggage. The view is beautiful of the lake and the mountains in the distance. The apartment maintains a comfortable warm temperature. As far as proximity goes, it only took us under 20 minutes to get to the apartment from Hallgrimskirkja church in downtown Reykjavik. The only way it could be better is if there were hooks for coats and keys in the small foye as you enter the apartment and maybe an air fryer in place of an oven.
No vent in the bathroom - apartment fogs up with steam from the shower even when the door is closed.

It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, spacious and a great location! I liked being a little outside the city because there wasn't as much traffic, and it was easier to get on the road every day into the countryside which was usually where our agendas were based. There's a little cafe next door with yummy food, coffee etc. The grocery store was very close, and you could get the candy bars you see in the souvenir shops for about a third the price there!
The refrigerator froze our (expensive) food. The lighting at night was poor (too dim); difficult to cook, pack, etc because it was too dark,,,, but none of this made much of a difference in our happiness with the property.

Lovely modern apartment in a great location, had everything we needed! Ideal if you’ve hired a car as has free parking and easily accessible from the main road out of Reykjavik (about 20 mins out)
The only negative is the bins, as instructed on our email upon check out we washed/sorted our recycling and rubbish and took down to the waste disposal area but it was all mixed up and overflowing from the bins which was such a shame. Oh! And maybe list on the facilities that there is no oven (just a hob) but this was no problem for us

View was awesome, Apartment was clean and had amenities that it mentioned. Bed was comfortable and large. Coffee machine, TV, iron, ironing stand, shampoo and bodywash, hand wash, towels, clean linen - all present.
I think all apartments should have similar things - the only thing that might need a bit of improvement is consistency. We had three rooms and all three had differences in furnishing and room layout and size. But there were other things that compensated for differences such as balcony in the apartments with zero view. PS: apartments ending in 2,4,6 have a ake and mountain view. Apartments with 1, 3, 5, 7 have balconies.

Comfy bed and couch, big smart TV, kitchen with basics Fairly modern apartment Good value for Iceland (where lodging is relatively expensive apparently) The location is a bit out of town, so having your own means of transport will be quite useful. Be advised that warm water in Iceland can smell a bit of sulphur. So it's not a drain that is leaking, that's just what warm water can smell like in Iceland O:) I would stay there again if I ever come back.
Entry is not quite clear. There is a keypad on the wall outside that is not really clear. You have to touch it before seeing the digits and being able to enter the building. The keypad on the door of the apt is not too big, so a bit of a challenge for people who have less accurate finger movement - it's touch only, no actual buttons to press.

The view from the appartment is very nice: mountain and river. The window can be opened for fresh air (no fly). The room is clean and the bed is pretty comfortable. We can walk to the super market (Bonus). The surrounding area is nice and safe. It is pretty close to Reykjavik (15').
The instruction on how to use the door code of the complex should be more specific. It took us sometime to figure out that the key pad is a touch screen. We would like to have more light in the room at night when preparing for a late dinner. We booked a deluxe apartment with a balcony but were given a room without balcony. It is still a nice room just not what is said on the description.
