The fact the bar above our room had music playing till just before midnight, which stopped us sleeping for an early morning flight,which is inconsiderate for everyone else

The staff was exceptional. Hannah and Sigurgeir were particularly great, very informative and helpful - they provided excellent customer service. Every staff member we spoke with or asked anything of went above and beyond. We decided to pay extra (room rate) to include breakfast - breakfast was worth every penny. We also had access to the executive lounge - highly recommend! I was very impressed with this stay. I would book again! We rented a car and the location of the hotel was perfect as a home base location. And a cool small thing: the hotel has USB ports so you don't necessarily have to bring a country specific plug to charge electronics. Can't say enough about how impressed we were with our stay at Hilton Reykjavik Nordica - it really made our first trip to Iceland that much better! :)

24 hour room service would have been nice. They do provide cold snacks/sandwiches in the lobby 24/7. And the times were returned after midnight (after light hunting) Hannah helped us to order pizza which was delivered to the hotel. So, it wasn't awful that room service wasn't provided 24/7, it just would have been a bonus.

Comfy, easy to get around . Foods was quite okay.

Some stuff are cold, some are really nice but that’s okay. What’s not okay is that it’s a reputable hotel around the globe , so make sure that it has a reputable cleanliness as well. The window were just below from my expectations. The toilet hasn’t have any glass , toothbrush & toothpaste, I mean it course I brought mine but still, they should provide a basic stuff inside. They afford to build Hilton but can’t provide those basic stuff? Oh , a brush for the bowl as well. The mini fridge was empty. I’m used to have it all provided in a 4/5 stars hotel. Even some 2/3 stars hotel provide those basic needs for guest. Also, they don’t have a sign to leave outside whether you DONT want to be disturb , or if you want your room to be clean or not. They just enter there without permission.

Excellent breakfast with a big choice of meals; excellent dinner and amiable staff in the restaurant; relaxing spa with two indoor hot tubs, one pool, steam cabin, sauna, and outdoor hot bath; Excellent quiet room on 8 floor with a good wide TV with installed Youtube, which can be used directly from the TV. It is a good location if You are travelling with a car.

Unfortunately, we could not order lunch through booking.com (e.g. to have the full board (FB) in the hotel).

Staff made an attempt to correct issues. Housekeeping staff was outstanding, responsive, just great. Front desk staff was responsive but missed the boat on check in follow through. The facility was, overall, very nice. Looked to be better suited to business travelers. It was nice with the opportunity to be great.

The room we booked is not the room we received. We booked because we saw 1 photo of executive twin room showing 2 nice lounging chairs on a carpeted area. Staying 4 days waiting out an oncoming storm, we booked for those nice chairs and carpeted area as shown online. Having retired from hospitality, their marketing department that uploaded those photos made a mistake. We should have the room pictured or offered some compensation. I requested a "quiet" room. Given a room overlooking the road (mountains in background), the room was hot (in January) with radiators totally off, had to open the 2 small windows. Asked for a fan. It was still warm, and I slept less than 4 hours each night due to the road noise. Ruined our experience.

I loved the views from the hotel room, the bed was really comfortable, drinkable water from sink, really nife tv eith access to internet, the staff is friendly and tries to help you with anything you need, breakfast is amazing they have tons of stuff to choose from and its delicious. The lobby has an ATM and a snack bar that works 24/7 really practical and helpful. Location is PERFECT! it has like 5 restaurants near it (just crossing the street) a near apple store, a near pharmacy and a supermarket named néto. In small words IT WAS AMAZING!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and very friendly. We loved the view of the mountain and being able to see so much of the city over new year was wonderful. The hotel restaurant and bar was a really relaxing environment and the staff again were wonderful.

There was nothing about the stay I didn't like, we would have preferred firm pillows but this wasn't a dislike just a preference.

Nice spa area, spacious room, good food, good hotel location.

We paid for half-board and only at the hotel we found out that you cannot choose the fools from the menu and you get what they decide. Given the menu was good but had like 6 starters / 4 main options and we’ve been there for six days, we got pretty much the same dinner several times and we couldn’t change it. The food itself was great, though!

Apart from the fact that we were rushed at breakfast, it was one of the best we've had in Iceland. But I did not expect anything less from a Hilton Hotel. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, the room very spacious and quiet. Big parking lot. We wanted to explore Reykjavik and go to the Sky Lagoon, the city center was only 5 minutes and the Sky Lagoon around 10 minutes away by car, which was very convenient. Also it was a good starting point for the Golden circle. Overall a very nice stay.

We were not provided with a toothbrush mug, but for a night it was OK. The reception also told us that breakfast will be served till 1030 so we were there at 10. Usually 1030 means that the staff starts clearing up breakfast at 1030, but guests can stay longer if needed. But when we arrived the staff already told us to fill up our plates, as they will start clearing up breakfast in a few minutes. At 1030 breakfast was almost cleared.

It's nice and on the main road to the airport. Airport is about 49 minutes away. Swab test is 5 blocks away. There's a Vietnamese, Chinese and Italian type of restaurant a block away. There is no Starbucks in Iceland, but also, a block away is Kopi and Tea.

Strict, you can only check in at 3pm. We hot there at 10 am and had to wait. We had a long flight from San Francisco, so as much as we want to take the bus to the City Center, we were exhausted.
