We stayed over the weekend here. Excellent location in the heart of the city. There are tons of restaurants and shops around. Deluxe Double room is a good size for 2 people, spotless, modern, having a comfortable bed. We requested a quiet room on the upper level (facing the sea side) upon reservation. And they provided exactly what we asked for. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The only downside was that hotel didn’t provide any breakfast. However, there is a free high quality coffee machine at reception available 24/7. And there are few places nearby available for breakfast in the early morning. Can recommend Sandholt (bakery & coffee shop with a seating area) or Grái kötturinn (American style breakfast). Both places are just few mins away by foot. We also booked the Golden Circle tour through the hotel in advance. It started at around 9.00am (but the waiting time outside could be about 30-40 mins) and took about 9 hours with the multiple stops ie Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysers, Fridheimar Farm & restaurant for lunch and the Secret Lagoon. They pick you up from the nearest bus stop N9 which is just 5 min walk from the hotel. From/To the airport you can use FlyBus services. You can buy the tickets online or at arrivals. Or you can also book the return tickets to the airport at the hotel reception. In general, we had quite a pleasant stay (regardless of the pouring rain;-) and could highly recommend this hotel.

Great location with lots going on around the hotel but was still nice and quiet at night. No restaurant but free coffee in reception and lots of places to eat nearby. Only a few mins walk from bus stop 9 so easy to get to if using Flybus from the airport. Would stay here again.

The people in the reception are so kind and helpful. They always has a smile on every question you have and very accomodating. The place is in the middle of the town and maybe more expensive but if you want to save, you can always buy food on the grocery store just beside the hotel. A lot of bakeries and restaurants are also available for grabs so even the hotel does not have any breakfast possibility you can just go out and eat anytime.

The hotel has no possibility for breakfast. The reception is so small and don´t have a place to stay and relax aside from your room. It might be noisy during the day because of ongoing construction of a restaurant downstairs.

This is SUCH a nice Hotel - I will happily stay again! I chose this Hotel as a little treat to myself and was extremely happy with everything. The Rooms & Bathrooms all look luxurious and spacious! The showers are just incredible... <3 The Staff is so kind and friendly, I had a looong and great chat when checking-out, and the Housekeeping Team is very sweet too! The location is the absolute best - it's in the heart of Downtown, with a lot of cool and convenient places around. The little Coffee Station next to the Reception is fab, and I was also able to store my luggage for a couple of hours after check-in!

I had an issue with my Room which was immedietly fixed (thank you again, I really appreciated it - especially after a very long and frustrating journey)! I think that having a Breakfast Service/Buffet or a Hotel Bar would be incredibly beneficial... although that being said, there's a lot of choices right outside the front doors!

I was gracious to be upgraded to a balcony room, and had a beautiful view of the city. I loved how central it was and close to my nearest bus stop (the hotel should list what bus stop is closest so it's easier to coordinate with tour pickups. The breakfast was great and pretty great value for quite an expensive city.

The balcony room was great but that also came with a lot of street noise on the weekend. Additionally. it would have been nice to have a few instructions on the room, such as how to operate the shower (it was a double shower head), and an in-room phone would have been good too.

This is the center of Reykjavík. One can walk in all directions and enjoy the city and the coast line. It was very convenient, about a 12 minute walk to Harpa, where I had daily meetings. Our room is large enough to keep our bicycles inside. We are avid cyclist rode out on the various pike pass to the center of the city. The hotel is accommodating. We deeply appreciated the free coffee in the very small lobby. The shower and the bathroom were nice, comfortable and faucets had a good water flow and adequate heat. Shampoo and towels were nice but not overly special. We only used a rental car from the hotel one day. It can be difficult to find parking near the hotel.

Overall the hotel is what we expected.

This bijou property is in a fantastic location in central Reykjavik. It can be a little noisy at night as the main shopping street is quite lively until around midnight so best to keep the window closed. The rooms are snug (read small) as are the shower rooms but we noticed this in many Icelandic hotels. The hotel provides a kettle but few teabags so worth bringing your own and maybe coffee bags too. The beds are comfortable though the doubles are standard size. The safes, like the rooms, are small so you can't fit a laptop inside. Enough room for a wallet, iPhone and some small items. The staff were professional enough but not very welcoming. I think they could engage more with the client and initiate a little conversation such as 'Hi, how was your journey?' 'Would you like to know about our dining options/breakfast service?' and 'Do let us know if we can help you at all during your stay' etc As it was, we discovered some fab coffee houses for breakfast and excellent local dining options within walking distance.

We felt staff could have been more friendly and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms were small and the safe was hamster-size.

Great location in center of town. Walking distance to lots of great sites, restaurants, and stores. Hotel was very clean and our rooms on the 5th and 6th floors either had view of the main street or of the bay.

Rooms were on smaller side but felt even smaller with their furniture choices. Had large desk chair that didn’t fit under the desk and stuck out, obstructing our walking path. Rooms only have queen beds and no option for two twin beds which was fine for us traveling as family but may not work for others. We did not have a car but note there is no on-site parking available.

This is a modern boutique hotel in the centre of Reykjavik, Iceland right on the main shopping street, next to a supermarket, across from the Tourist Info centre, with a lovely restaurant in the lobby. The rooms are small with room for a chair and a queen bed and some clothes storage. Good quality TV and excellent AC/Heating and soundproof windows. The hotel has one employee in the lobby and he does it all. With a smile and no expectation of a tip. But he did accept one when I asked for the moon and he delivered. The rooms are very clean, as is the whole hotel, even the emergency stairs. The lobby bar/restaurant has great coffee, super pastries, and a small selection of beers and liquors.

Iceland is expensive. So is this hotel. I cannot find anything to fault them on.

A modern hotel right in the middle of Laugavegur (the main restaurant and shopping street in Reykjavik). I couldn’t think of better location for exploring the city. We found a parking spot almost in front of the hotel (no charge on weekends after Saturday 4pm). Our room even had a small patio and it was very clean and well maintained.

The room was rather small - opening two suitcases at the same time quite a challenge. Even though the price was quite good compared to other hotels in Reykjavik, I still find the price rather high for a small room without breakfast (even in islandic terms).
