The staff were exceptional and could not have been more friendly or helpful. In addtion the standard of housekeeping was amongst the best I have ever experienced - the hotel was perfectly maintained and our room was always spotless and beautifully prepared each day. We enjoyed the location too - only a short walk into town and a few minutes to the beach. Great views too!

Our only critism was that there could have been a little more choice at breakfast with some addtional fresh fruit and some museli and local honey (not the version in small plastic containers).

The hospitality at Marianna's is amazing. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Since it was about 42 Celsius outside, the hostess offered us lemonade and water upon arrival and also when we departed. The breakfast was exceptional, and the hotel does carry wine, beer, water, and soda for purchase if you require a refreshment during your stay. We drove, so having parking on premises was great. The location of the hotel is also amazing as it is located among an old fortress.

Everything was great, and if we are ever in Nafplion again, we would stay at Marianna's.

Location, cleanliness, value for money, delivered-what-promised, view, staff, breakfast, bed, room. This is a small, boutique hotel, located on a hill overlooking the old town of Nafplio, with rooms on three levels. The rooms are on the lower two levels and the reception is on the top level. We visited in early November, and we had a room with a view towards the town rooftops. Breakfast was excellent, self-served on the top floor, which has a magnificent view of the Bourtzi Castle, and the Palamidi Castle. Although there is no parking on the premises, we left our car about 40 meters away from the hotel reception. The hotel is 4 minutes from the town center, and 5 minutes from the beach (although we did not swim).

location is just perfect. Close to anything. Wonderful small patio inside with a flowering orange tree. Very quiet place and at the same time in a few minutes by foot you get surrounded by taverns, cafeterias and small shops. Very comfy beds. Small but cozy rooms. Electric kettle, coffee and tea bags inside the room. Strong wi-fi.

breakfast (so-so) and check out time (11, not 12). We are not the "morning" persons , so it was a bit difficult to get ready by 11 o'clock, especially the next day after the clock change - it was necessary, in fact, to pack things by 10 in the morning. (For those who wake up early this definitely would not be a problem)

What a very special place, hosted by radiant bothers and team. They assisted me very kindly in finding best bus routes and connections in my travels. They lay out the most gorgeous home made breakfast with fresh produce from their organic farm (which I hope to discover next time). The rooms are colourful and homely. Each has a little outdoor space to sit and sip a drink. There or on the rooftop terrace with unique view over the city and bay. Also direct access at the back to the fortified tower and walls....I miss the place already!

We loved our stay at Pension Marianna. the location is superb, poised between the old town and the sea with dramatic panoramic views. our room was located in the original building with beautiful stone walls and a comfortable bed. but best of all was the wonderful Xenophilia (hospitality) offered by the family, in particular by Petrus. we had the opportunity to visit his family farm close to Nafplion where they grow the most delicious bio oranges, and helped bake some traditional Greek cookies with their own bio- flour, honey, orange juice and olive oil. Such a treat. We are already planning our return trip!

One of the prettiest places we have ever stayed. Superb staff. Lovely freshly home-cooked breakfasts. We had a beautiful room full of character with a shady outdoor patio.

We liked everything. Due to its location on a steep hill and with lots of steps it would be difficult for anyone for a mobility impairment, but this was not a problem for us.

The crew was great, very helpful, answering questions and recommending activities. Breakfast was very good with a variety of Greek pies, Greek yogurt, eggs, vegetables, etc. Our room was very clean and the view was great!

Our room had 2 single beds that even when pushed together still had some distance between the mattress. The bathroom was very small. The location above the town provided great views but also meant that we had to climb many stairs on the way into town and back.

This place was fantastic; and the staff was super nice, helpful, and welcoming. My room was small but comfortable and very clean. I'm a solo traveler so it worked well for me. It's a cute hotel with a lot of charm. The view from my window, as well as the rooftop, is amazing. Coffee and tea in the room. A/C worked great. Bed was comfortable.There was a TV but I didn't use it. Excellent location. Away from the main area, so it's quiet, but the action is less than a 3 minute walk. The breakfast was also amazing, and it included an assortment of homemade pastries and an espresso machine. Bus left in the afternoon, and the staff had no problem with me leaving my bags. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Nafplio.

The shower was a bit small, even for me. But it was manageable and updated, and had has sliding doors and no curtains which is great

Extraordinary view from our room and from the rooftop terras. Very cosy lovely rooms with little terraces all over. Great location in the old town. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Parking facilities were a bit challenging but the staff made sure to find a solution. Lots of stairs to move around in the hotel. We were a bit annoyed by the noises from children and clinging noises travelling through the walls. The home made breakfast was good however more than one type fresh fruit would be welcome as well as ground coffee (being a real coffee lover…). Be aware that if you book through booking.com you are charged an extra fee on top of the published price. (We had to pay 17€ extra…)
