Athena hotel

We came to Nafplio for just one weekend so we only stayed for one night, but we were very pleased with our stay! Our room was clean, cosy and bright with a good-sized shower, a very comfy bed and a small balcony. The hotel is located very centrally, perfect for exploring the city. Our room was facing away from the main square so it didn't get too noisy either.We had no issues with the WiFi connection as it seemed to be working perfectly well in all areas of the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and polite, allowing us to check in a bit earlier since our room was ready and also storing our backpacks after checkout, so that we could go around freely. The breakfast provided had a sizeable variety of sweet and savoury options as well as freshly squeezed orange juice. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, and would definitely choose it again for future stays!

A lovely refurbished small hotel in the heart of Nafplion. Really cosy beds, great views from the balconies, super nice and flexible staff, lovely breakfast with lots of options. A small gem!!

We didn’t mind but small rooms with the back view are really small, including the bathroom, so if you need more comfort book a bigger room. I checked them and they are really nice.

Central location, modern facility, very friendly and accommodating staff.

If we have to mention something we didn't like, it was the lack of warm water to take a shower on the evening the day we arrived. We didn't report this to the reception, as the next day in the morning, the water was actually pretty hot...

A lot of money must have been spent recently on the hotel, everything was in a superb state. My wife loved the quality of all the bed linen etc. It was one of the best rooms we stayed in during a two week touring holiday. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent, and though the hotel was very central our room was very quiet. We hope to return.

No parking is available close to the hotel, it is possible to drive and drop off luggage but it is easy to get hopelessly lost - we did.

Wonderful stay. The staff is absolutely awesome. Not only friendly but also helpful and patient despite the flow of travelers and the high season that'd make them quite busy. It's rare to see that level of professionalism across all the staff at once. Very qualitative welcome with all details needed to enjoy the stay. The room is as depicted, a bit small though, with a nice balcony, bathroom, and very comfy bed (pillows are a bit thick though). Hotel looks modern and good amenities are provided. Great breakfast with great choice (fresh and delicious). Well located in the center of Napflio, close to the port and main attractions. Definitely played a part in my delightful time in the city

Excellent location right at the heart of the historic city and a stone’s throw from some of its best restaurants and cafes. Views of the castle from the upper-floor rooms facing E and S. The rooms are on the small side but smartly appointed. Ours included a two-side balcony with chairs and coffee table. The WiFi signal was strong (a must these days). The breakfast was generous in offerings and quality and included many healthy options. The staff was absolutely wonderful! Highly recommended!

This is not a criticism per se but a tip: the hotel occupies a renovated low rise building without elevator. If that’s an issue, you could always ask for a room on the first floor.

Excellent little hotel next to the town's main square and within a short walk of the seafront and other attractions, as well as plenty of places to eat. Friendly staff, happy to help with advice on things to do locally.

The room could have been bigger, although was compensated by two balconies with views over the square.

Location of the hotel is great, right in the city center. It has nice modern design. Our room was nice but bit small, which could be bit uncomfortable for longer stays. We have really enjoyed the breakfast on a small terrace with a view on the city square.

The stuff was amazing ! This small hotel was a good surprise. We were 2 families traveling together with kids. The rooms were super clean, location is the best.
