Excellent location! Attention to detail is of 4-5* hotel, beautiful architecture of 19th century. Staff is totally flawless and understanding to your needs. Included breakfast makes you feel you booked 5* all inclusive and you take it in a collaborative cafeteria in syntagma square. Actually, everything is perfect i wanted to stay more!
There is not something that makes you regret staying in kastelo.

The hotel, which is a 200 year old building renovated with excellent taste, is exactly at the beginning of the Nafplio old town on the square at the foot of the castle. There is free parking at the harbor a mere minutes away. The 999 steps to the castle, for the adventurous, begin right on the street behind the hotel. The room has everything you need and the atmosphere and furniture are beautiful and keeping up with the house aesthetic. We had breakfast included and we were extremely satisfied with the service and quality of the food as well as the many options provided. Covid measures were adhered to to perfection.
If you are housed in one of the 1st floor rooms you can hear people walking in the room above. It can get a bit loud but that I guess is inherent to the type of construction used in houses built at that time.

Great location. Easy stroll to shops and restaurants. Excellent breakfast served in a cafe about 300m from the hotel.
Nothing to not like. Possibly be aware like lots of boutique hotels in Europe it’s an old building with steep stairs and no lift access.

A light sleeper may have issues with the cracking boards from people walking up the stairwell as there’s no elevator, or from people walking on the floor above; also noise from taxi stand as the hotel is centrally located.

Bed was extra comfortable and big ! Room was very clean and was cleaned daily ! Location was perfect right on the edge of old town very close to the sea but also within a couple of minutes walk from the base of the steps to Palamidi.
Overall the room was perfect for a couple . If the couple had kids (we didn't) a second a/c unit would be needed for the adjacent room with the couches...

Central location in Naplio, everything within easy reach by foot. Comfortable room and beds. Breakfast is a few hundred meters away in a café on the main square in the pedestrian zone and was excellent.

The room was bigger then I thought, with a king size bed and a mini living room. The room was very clean. The breakfast is at Xenon Cafe near the hotel, it includes: eggs (made as you wise), bread, cheese, fruits, OG and coffee.
