Bad Hotel Überlingen

This hotel met or exceeded our expectations and we felt was was good value for money compared to other hotels around the lake that we stayed at. Comfortable and clean with very comfortable bed. Best breakfast of the 6 hotels we stayed at during our cycle tour of the lake. Beautiful view of gardens and the lake. Excellent staff. Has a good bike garage.

Heard other guests in neighbouring rooms more often than we would like, but was not a deal breaker.

Ample breakfast with great variety. Clean rooms with comfortable beds; high quality toiletries and towels; good bathrobe and slippers. Great location. Excellent view from lakeside rooms. Generally quiet area despite being in the center of town. Restaurant needs better cooks. Lunch and dinner are mediocre given the excellent cuisine available around Lake Contance

the location is fabulous - the water is right out front and it is so peaceful with lots of restaurant options and makes for perfect pictures, parking was very easy (I am horrible at parking so this always give me anxiety), the staff was so warm and welcoming. I parked in the wrong spot at first and one of the receptionists came all the way across the street to the parking garage to help me navigate to the hotel parking, they had a crib ready in the room, the room was spotless, there is an elevator, restaurant was fabulous and they even found me an English menu. again SO BABY FRIENDLY!

everything was delightful

We spent our night there with our dog in the Villa Seeburg with a view of the lake and a balcony on the west side of the building (great sunsets). Excellent room, clean, wooden floor. On checking out, the receptionist allowed us to keep the rubber duck :-) Breakfast was very good.

There was nothing we didn't like. The weather wasn't great, but that wasn't the hotel's fault.

Beautiful location. Uberlingen is lovely. Good size room with a great fan which proved useful as it was hot. We had ‘town side’ room which had low ceiling in bathroom which was awkward for 6’2 husband. Great breakfast. Good parking - we were lucky to get a spot as car parking onsite cannot be reserved.

Rooms a bit dated which surprised us as website said hotel had recently been updated.

This is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location, but the staff are what make staying there a delight. Rosario at the front desk is a star. Her welcome and approach to customer service are professional yet personal. Having stayed here several times on business, she is a constant! Also the sommelier is delightful. Not only is his wine knowledge impeccable (in this wine-producing region, it helps to have guidance), but his personality is a bonus. Thank you and hope to see you again next year.

Überlingen is amazing, great location beautiful garden very well kept and across the lake the building is very old so the rooms were with a little slant breakfast was very good variety of choices and the staff was pleasant

Great location, large rooms, very clean and good value for money

The shower was a little small and water was flowing out onto the floor. The main light in the room was quite dark. The receptionists were a little bit slow

Room with lake view was excellent. Staff efficient and warm. Facilities and garden beautiful. Parking convenient. I felt very lucky to grab this room at a busy time when I really needed the staff to help with a lot of things I had to ship back home. They couldn't have been nicer - also the back terrace for tea or coffee (or even a meal) is a little slice of heaven away from the busy tourist scene by the rest of the lake. Many compliments to the chef in the kitchen and the staff at the desk (housekeeping too - who promptly found my phone charger and got it back to me at checkout)

The price point was a little high - and there was a 30 euro charge for the dog which I wasn't aware of (and which is higher than some other hotels).

I cannot say enough good things about this property - beautiful in all ways. Wonderful welcoming staff; gorgeous property; spacious, well appointed rooms; excellent breakfasts; a comfortable lobby. Everything was just as we hoped.
