Hampton by Hilton Konstanz

The bed is comfortable, they provide you with 2 pillows (a hard & a soft one). The breakfast is great. If you're interested in having scrambled eggs or omelette, simply ask the staff to prepare it for you. As for parking, opposite the hotel, there is an industrial zone, where you can park for free. You don't have to pay 12 Euros for the hotel parking. The staff were friendly and cooperative.

The breakfast was great, and all items were available even during peak times. The breakfast hall was spotless. The staff was very helpful and was always ready to assist when needed.

The door to our room (420) closed very harshly. It seems like the overhead door stopper was not properly adjusted for the weight of the door. Isolation towards noise from the inside of the building could be better. The wine served at the bar could have had more variety and quality.

Directly at a bus stop. Large parking garage. Bike Cellar (with a bit of a problematic opening system). Nice rooms. Great breakfast. Awesome and very friendly staff.

The above mentioned bike room had to be opened by staff every time. Better use the room cards. There was a little bit small amounts of storage space in the room.

The breakfast was really good with a lot of options. The hotel lobby looks nice. The bed is big and comfortable.

The price is too expensive for what you get. It’s away from the city center, you need a car, bus or take a taxi. They charge 12€ for parking even though it’s in an industrial area. For the price for one night, parking should really be included! The room looked old, especially the bathroom! There was still hair from the previous guests in the shower and the sink! Not ok for 250€ a night! I stayed in New York last week for 250€ with a view of the freedom tower in the financial district. What are you charging this amount of money for? Would not pay that again. For half this price a night, no worries.

The room was very spaceous and comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of options, although we suggest you go in there rather early to be able to find a good spot to sit. The quality of the food was also very high.

The showering experience from the shower itself to the shampoo etc. could be better. Also the lighting was wired in such a way that we had to have half of the room either switched on or off. We did not like that you had to pay 12€ for parking in a dead area, and on top of that we learned that after the check-in, whereas during the entire booking process you get the feeling that it is included in the price.

Your breakfast is very good.

More information about the parking facilities at the desk - and why should I stay in my car 10-15 minutes beeing unable til come out from the hotel because the machine would not read the ticket I got when I went in with the car and our suitcases.

The rooms were big and exactly as in the pictures. The breakfast area was large and the hotel was very clean and tidy. The location of the hotel is a little.far out of town and you will need to drive to get to the old town, but there are some fast food places around.

Check in and check out took 20 minutes each and they reception ladies seemed to not know their own computer system very well. The parking situation with validating of parking tickets broke and the actual parking is not attached to the hotel so traveling and a family and a lot of luggage was hard. The general customer service needs some work in this hotel. But if that does not bother you, the hotel is fine. Dinner options are very limited to fast food places, unless you eat elsewhere.

Holiday ❘ Family We really enjoyed our stay at the Konstanz Hampton. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms, one of the rooms has a sofa bed and upon our arrival had been made up and readied. That was very much appreciated by us. The rooms are specious, the hotel rooms smell amazing. The hotel is in a very convenient location. It’s within walking distance to the bus station but also walking distance to several tourist highlights and restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had! So many options. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Konstanz Hampton and would defy stay there again. There is a very big parking belongs to the hotel, and it cost €12/day with a charging station. The gym was big with new and up-to-date equipments. There is a "Kaufland" supermarket within walking distance.

Nothing! The hotel really exceeded our expectations.

As an American... especially after a long trip abroad sometimes you just need some familiarity...and this Hampton delivered on that. The staff was particularly helpful and the breakfast was tremendous.. As for the location, although it wasn't near the center, it was near a bus line....which the city of Konstanz allows visitors who have paid the city tax for visiting to ride for free...the bus line got you to the center in about 15 minutes...

The only thing I would change is the sheets ...they were two small for the bed really and I kept ending up on the straight mattress...as I move a lot in my sleep...but really this is such a minor thing ...

A modern hotel, nice and comfy rooms well equipped including very good air condition, TV (only German speaking channels) a small refrigirator and a safe. Flat entrance to the lobby and elevators to the rooms (we stayed at the 5th floor). The staff was pleasant and helpfull.

Breakfast had some variety but is less tasty than we experienced in other Hapton hotels (also, no boil eggs, no dairy products). The bathroom door has a large glass surface projecting light from the bath into the room if anyone is using it. Need to pay 10 Euro per day for car parking. The hotel is located in an industrial/office area.
