Hotel Augustiner Tor

Breakfast was very tasty and a lot of things to choose from. The breakfast room was very nice with a terrace. The bed was comfortable and the pillows great. Big and modern bathroom. The room was spacious with a cute balcony and nice view

It was a bit noisy from the street. We needed to keep the windows open because of the heat and lack of air condition, and then we had mosquitos in the room… Mosquito net was needed.

The location is great. Extremely central with around 3-5 minutes walking from the central train station. The room is very spacious, the place is very Clean and the staff are awesome. Super friendly and helpful which is the main reason why I gave the overall rating of 8. Also the breakfast was really good to be fair, many options and varieties with very decent quality of food and serving.

What I found really annoying were the pillows. Really bad for me and my mum also had trouble sleeping with it (too shallow/empty from the inside). Eventhough the room was spacious but it could use some minor renovation (fresh paint or cleaning some dirt/stains on the wall) for a better overall feeling of cleanliness. (same to the floor but ok no big deal).

Location is astonishing, easy to get everywhere in the town. Nice room, clean and tidy as it should be. There was a bit loud street outside with a shopping centre but it is a compromise for an amazing location.

The reception administrator was unfriendly and a bit haughty, which was quite surprising for the hotel. There is a lift inside but the accessibility for people with disabilities is very poor (only stairs at the entrance).

Nice terrace at the restaurant, good breakfast. I would recommend more fruits. Location was great, two minutes walk from the train station and inpractice in the Old Town.

There wasn't an aircondioner, so it's too hot in the summer. We had to leave very early in the morning, before breakfast was served. So we actually hadn't one, but have paid for it. Just an idea for packed food or something like that :) Aside from that, everything was fine and would recommend the place.

on top floor (402) with curved ceilings. why do hotels insist to paint the roof same colour. I am sick of hitting my head! Constructive feedback - paint the ceiling a different colour or highlight the edge(s) before you get a lawsuit.

Super location, in the town center. Friendly staff, and good breakfast (for a 3-star hotel). The room was clean and silent. I was in Konstanz for work and spent most of the time in a conference venue in the town center. The Augustiner Tor was therefore the perfect solution for me, with a great value for money.

Nothing, really. Everything was okay, if not very good, and I enjoyed staying in this hotel.

The hotel is very well situated and the rooms/beds well appointed. Breakfast was really good with a good choice of food.

Parking is not available but I guess that is the problem with most city centre hotels. There is paid parking close by but it was 24 Euros for overnight parking.

I loved the location near the railway station and the old town, layout of the room with TV at the foot of the bed (not that we had time to watch it), the servings of fruit juices and milk bottled individually in reusable glass bottles and small size of the pastries - all helping to reduce waste of food.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is only 5 minutes away from the central station in the city center. Considering the location and the price for one night in other hotels, this hotel is a good choice. The room was clean, the staffs were friendly and the breakfast was nice. I recommend this hotel.
