Novum Hotel Continental Frankfurt

Inside the hotel very quite, staff was friendly, and the scrambled eggs in the breakfast buffet were to die for👌🏿

The hotel is located in the city center, even though the windows have double glass you could her the noise the goes ob outside, all night long… ambulances, people screaming, music, the trains, the list goes on…

The proximity to train station

The non Turkish speaking staff were horrible. At check in they said my kids were too noisy and they couldn’t concentrate on their computer so they asked us to leave until the room was ready. My kids were not loud at all and were just excited from being in a new town.the following a day a group of Loud basketball players were disruptive and the same front desk people did not scold them. As a sales manager at a US hotel property I was appalled by the lack of customer service revived and the rudeness of the front desk staff. Maybe it’s a German thing. I won’t be returning to this hotel. Restaurant staff were very nice and housekeeping was amazing.

The location is great it’s right in front of the main train station and tram. There are also many metro stations. The breakfast was good and personally filling. Also there are many good restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. We didn’t have to take the metro or bus to get to the center so a great save!

The neighborhood isn’t that good. There was a guy asking us for money and just the atmosphere doesn’t feel that safe. Also in our bathroom the glass partition wasn’t stable, and the heater wasn’t working. Since it’s near the tram, it’s really noisy but didn’t have a problem with sleeping.

Very convenient location; close to the railway station and the inner city. Lived up to my expectations, in fact, I’d say it was even better considering the cheap price. Comfortable room for one with everything I needed. Breakfast included. Room was cleaned well, though there was some wear on the walls and such but nothing that made any difference to my experience. Staff was good but not overly communicative which suited me.

Had a room facing the street which was very noisy, but as I was only there for a quick stay it didn’t bother me too much. Could also hear noises from the hallway and the other rooms, which could be a problem if you’re a light sleeper.

It was nice and clean. The hotel is rather close to the railway station and the city center. Enough of everything to spend a couple of days.

The street is just a bit noisy, didn’t bother me, but for light sleepers it might be an issue. Also, the fact that it’s near the station unfortunately means that it’s not extremely comfortable to be there alone in the evening because of some creepy individuals.

The green carpets in the corridors very shabby and stained. There was no bar in the hotel. The stairs close by leading down to the U-bahn and S-ban very scary with the amount of beggars, druggies and very strange characters congregtating there and in the streets close by. Hard to know why the police don't move in and clean the place up.

Staff are lovely and kind. The breakfast is lovely and I enjoyed how the hotel looked. At each floor their are different photos of the street in the past. The location can't be beat. This area is a melting pot of many immigrants and so it is a short walk to a Irish bar, to a Chinese hot pot restaurant, to a Persian restaurant, to an Indian restaurant. So if you want to eat out a lot this is fantastic.

Elevator stopped working for part of a day. My mother is 73 and it was hard to have to walk up and down stairs.

Helpful and friendly reception, breakfast and room staff. Decent breakfast and coffee. Spacious room. Convenient location with great variety of eating places nearby.

Whilst the location was good for the great variety of eating places, coffee shops etc the area near the railway station (as in many other cities) was busy, a bit "edgy" and noisy.

This is an older hotel which has been successfully renovated. My room was very spacious and comfortable. The location across the road from the train station is very convenient. The breakfast room is a bit small but the breakfast buffet is more than adequate.

The elevator did not work during my stay so it was an effort to get the luggage up and down the long staircase

Friendly and helpful Front Office personnel attitude:) Great location right across Frankfurt Bhf Central Station, Kaiser strabe which leads to the Zeil shopping center and great restaurants. Within walking distance of popular historic sites, river Main, Frankfurt Cathedral, the Romer medieval building and historic market :)

The elevator didn't work for the last three days of my stay. This has created inconvenience.
