Manhattan Hotel

The room was clean, price of 57€ a night was super cheap compared to the luxury, mini bar had chilling drinks, even though located along the tram way, there was really a high level of noise cancellation. Check in & out procedure very easy and straightforward.

Well entrance may seem a little bit unsecured with lots of homeless people. Reception and bar too exposed to these people.

Great place and great value for the money. Close to the train station (literally one street away) as well as the historic city center (a short walk). Beautiful and modern rooms with impressive amenities. Comfortable and clean. Really one of the best rooms I have stayed in at that price. The lobby bar was also beautiful but unfortunately due to Covid it was closed. But if it had been opened, it would have been a great bar I think! The staff was helpful but Davide was AMAZING. Super sweet, friendly and helpful. Thank you again David! He went above and beyond with me and my mom our entire week stay. Genuinely asking us about our day, etc. what we were up to. Checking in with him was something we kind of looked forward to and also part of our ritual each day! Really can't say enough of good things about him. He was fantastic. Thank you again David!

The ONLY bad thing is the physical location of the hotel. Apparently it's a few streets away from some kind of a drug halfway house or something. Apparently it was a government project from a few years ago gone bad. Nothing bad against the hotel as it is obviously isn't their fault and they were at that location first but...it definitely needs mentioning. Lots of drugged out people wandering around nearby at all hours of the day and night. I'm from NYC and it usually takes a lot to phase me but, I've never seen anything like that before or as frequently.

Newly renovated room, very good size, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, staff is very helpful, location is right across the Frankfurt main station close to every transportation, and the price is just right

Neighborhood around the hotel is scary, a lot of homeless and junkies and they basically surrounded the hotel. You'll be just fine if you are travelling with a group of friend, but going alone will be scary. Tip is to walk on the pavement on the opposite side of the hotel (the Frankfurt station side) and just cross the road and enter the hotel.

A hotel with good value for money and just steps away from the train station. A nice large room with comfortable bed, clean white linens, duvet and a decent sized bathroom with hair and body wash provided. Great water pressure in the shower and ample hot water. As per usual in Germany the double bed is two twin beds put together. Excellent wifi. There is a small minibar where you can keep things cool but minibars don't really cool like a small fridge. Less than 1km away is a shopping mall (Skyline Plaza Frankfurt) with a good foodcourt and a supermarket. Discount supermarktet Penny is also only 1 km from the property. I had a room that faced other buildings and not the street so it was really quiet and I had a wonderful nights sleep. Toh Thong Thai restaurant just a few doors down was 'Yummy'. Other than that, the whole area has many cheap eats.

the location is just opposite to the main station just three minutes walking distance and close to everything. My room was upgraded by Booking.com and thanks for that. The staff was great and the guy at the reception helped me to move to right room to avoid the noise and having an Air condition.

noise level is high, try avoid staying lower and front side of the property. Also, be careful about the folks on the street selling drugs and which they are always close to the hotel it’s unavoidable.

The hotel is actually kinda like a diamond in a rough. It’s located right outside the train station (5 mins walk max) so if you plan to base in Frankfurt then it’s a great place. The staff, the room, the amenities, the cleanliness - excellent. There’s also a lift so you don’t have to carry your luggage up like other small hotels in Europe.

Although for some the location can be a real dodgy with homeless and people doing funny business outside but they won’t bother you if you don’t talk to them. Other then that, I don’t mind the location.

The location is top, right next to the train station but very quiet inside the room. Everything looks modern, clean and comfortable.

The staff was mainly friendly and helpful. There was just a minor thing with this receptionist. She couldn't get her eyes off her screen while answering our questions and requests. It's a basic etiquette for conversations, not mentioning in the hospitability business. I hesitated while writing this review. I am not fond of complaining, but I think a simple feedback could improve the staff training and avoid unnecessary nuisance.

Good value for money, cleanliness, comfort and friendly staff

The area around Frankfurt's main train station where the hotel is kinda dodgy and I didn't like it, particularly at nighttime. I didn't have any problems though. Also, they charge extra if you want to make a later check-in and many guests had problems with that, arguing at the main desk in the morning and being charged extra for it. So, it's better to pay attention to the check-out time - which is also a bit earlier in comparison to other hotels in the area.
