Novotel Lille Centre Grand Place

The room was perfect in size and appointments. Room service was exceptional: a kitchen staff came back after serving my meal to bring back my dessert, ice cream. They wanted to make sure it would not be melted by the time I finished my meal. Location is superb: right in the hyper-center of Lille.

For a 4 star hotel i found these items missing: The TV remote did not work well. Netflix was not on the Hotel Channels! There was not a welcome kit with creams, shower cap etc.... I had not brought my personal body cream or shower cap and I found that lacking.

They charged me double. I paid already thru booking.com. and good I noticed they charged again my card.. Phew. I told them, of course they refunded.I warned the exchange rate but they ignored. (I used not france credit card) So basically just sorry from them, but I lost in currency exchange because of their mistake..

The location was great. Lille is not a big city but the Novotel is conveniently located very close to the old city. The place was undergoing refurbishment of the hall which I was alerted at the time of the booking so there was some disruption but the staff was very helpful and the room very comfortable at a very good price

The hotel is in a very central place, felt a safe area and plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Didnt have breakfast as felt it was quite expensive, and there were cafes nearby. Reception staff were very friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. Would stay here again if visited Lille.

Location is really nice. Close to center and easy to reach so many places. Staff is friendly. Bed is confortable.

Too much noisy. looks like the windows, floor and door not able to isolate the sound. Breakfast is too expensive for just few choices. You can find many breakfast coffee stores near the hotel.

Bfast was all fine. Location is in the heart of the city. We had great steak restaurant within 9mins by walk. .Easy access and parking garage is also handy. Only would be nice the parking rate should not be charged to hotel guest. This is our second time visiting Lille.

Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options, room was super quiet and staff was really helpful when we reported an issue with the shower drain. Moreover, the location is great: quiet street just a couple of minutes away from Lille's Grand Place and its shops and restaurants

Staff are great, all friendly and always looking to help, great you when ever coming through or out of reception, the bar, etc. Location great, breakfast great, room of a decent standard

Shower could've been a bit more powerful, would've liked a main light in the room, but that's nitpicking

The fact that pets were there. I have asthma and it did affect me. I took precautions myself and made the best of it though

Very friendly and helpful staff. Always enjoy our stay here and this time we managed to book at a very reasonable price.

Only problem for us was that the bar ran out of calvados on our first night and would not be getting anymore until after we left. Not much to complain about really.
