Hotel Saint Julien

Friendly reception on arrival. Very willing to allow us to leave our luggage even though we arrived much earlier than check-in. Lovely touches: chocolates, bottled water and a personalised 'welcome' post card in the room.

Although there was a kettle, only two sachets of herbal tea were provided: no other teas, no chocolate or coffee. The opening to the shower cubicle is very wide and had no closing door (which in itself is fine): however, this had the effect of enabling shower water to spill out into the floor of the rest of the bathroom.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! Everything was perfect, room large, very high quality furnished, stylish decor. Staff very helpfull, very good breakfast, beach equipment was very comfortable too. On-site restaurant Anema was also perfect. Hotel is just around the corner from the streets full of restaurants and bars, both Biarritz beaches are just a couple of minutes walk. On-site parking (rare in Biarritz). Absolutely 100% score

This was truly an exceptional stay - the staff are super friendly, the rooms are nice and bright and the hotel amenities are super charming. We loved the breakfast area and incredible coffee! The location was also amazing.

The only thing that could be improved was the room cleaning. A few days our bed was not made and they only refreshed the towels but did not clean anything else.

Excellent location a very short walk from the Cote De Basques beach and the city centre. Amazing, friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable. Spotless throughout. And the rooms nicely appointed. Loved the little touches like free pastries in the hallway, and a yoga mat, beach bag and bottle to borrow. The garden is a little oasis too. Really charming.

Very good location, generally lovely hotel and nice friendly staff. The room was exceptionally clean, bedding, towels, etc - all very good quality. Very satisfied with our stay and would certainly recommend.

The water from the shower floods the bathroom floor very quickly and the flooring in the bathroom is not tilted to let the water drain back into the shower. So, once the first person has showered, it is quiet tricky for the second one to use the bathroom at all. Also, our aircon had the mind of its own: was on-off the first night at the temperatures it chose (would not respond to the settings on the control), the second night it was even more random - someone has to check the settings!

This is a very well run boutique hotel with very friendly staff and it is kept very clean. Room excellently laid out including USB wall ports for phone charging. It is within walking distance of the beach and town centre restaurants. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to any Biarritz visitor.

Lovely little boutique hotel in a central location of Biarritz. The staff were extremely helpful and so polite with special thanks to Florianne on Reception. The breakfast was excellent and really good value for money. The room was large and air conditioned with a fantastic en-suite and quality fittings. Overall a really enjoyable experience.

Loved the interiors, the comfy bed, the free pastries left out in the lobby and the bar out the front was very cool with tasty cocktails. Great location close to the town on a quiet street.

shampoo in the shower was poor quality and hard to wash your hair properly with. could have done with an nespresso machine in the room.

Very friendly staff, with helpful suggestions for our short stay. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast on the outside terrace was excellent. The hotel is very well located to walk around the coastal promenade and close to restaurants etc.

On site parking was very useful, but it’s a good job we didn’t have a big car!! It seemed a little expensive (especially as we had come from Northern Spain where rates were much lower) but probably around market price for central Biarritz.

Staff were exceptional-so welcoming and helpful to us. The location was amazing, central to the beaches and restaurants. Lovely outdoor terrace area and bar. The breakfast was so tasty-eggs made to order, fresh fruit, bread and granola.a cot was provided for my son and a highchair
