EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION 10/10! Right near the beach, shops and restaurants but quiet for sleep at night. Staff were so easy going and wanted you to genuinely have a nice visit. It’s the little things, nothing was a bother or a big deal. it’s how hotels should be! On leaving they even walked us to the taxi waiting area and waited with us until the cab arrived to be sure we got away with no problems. so sweet! We highly recommend! We were two friends on a long weekend.

Nothing, rooms a bit small but it did the job! No problem really.

Excellent location near the small beach and in around 10-15 minutes walk to the main beach. The hotel is located in the street with a lot of restaurants, cafes, shops, and in a walking distance to other central points. Personnel is just great, very professional and friendly. Hotel is beautifully decorated, with red carpets and stylish furniture.

I liked everything during the stay, it is the second year we stay in this hotel. The only inconvenience is that from July till September some streets become closed for cars during the day and it is difficult to navigate by car.

Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. They very kindly organised an early check-in for us. Fantastic location. Close to everything. Plenty of dining options nearby. Beaches were a very easy walk.

Air-conditioning was very loud and kept cutting in and out. It’s to be expected because the hotel is in an old building but lots of overhead noise with people walking above us. I would ask for a room on the top floor next time.

The staff were extremely helpful. The location was good but difficult to find. If arriving by car, parking is at Parking St Eugenie, 200m from the hotel. Best to park at Place de la Republique while checking in, picking up badge and leaving luggage at reception, then proceeding to Parking.

It would help to get some more specific instructions if arriving by car.

The location is first class, near the beach and the town , and is central to everything a tourist want to do in biarritz . Everything works first time, quality appliances in bathroom. The staff was super helpful and friendly , they speak french english and spanish . They print our documents on request, and help us navigate Biarritz and St-Jean de Luz and st jean pied de port. The welcome drinks mean we meet other people . Very thoughtful. Merci Lisa, Clara, and George !

The rooms are well appointed but quite small , there is just room to walk around the bed only, as is the balcony. One of our suitcase has to stay shut otherwise there is no room to walk around. Although this is typical of french hotels , I was somewhat disappointed that this hotel room was so small, but was rated 4 stars. If it was not for this issue, I would give this hotel a 9 rating.

The Hôtel Georges VI was the perfect place for us to stay some days in the beautiful Biarritz. Even though the hotel is located just in one of the main commercial and restaurant spots, the nights were very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was diverse and tasty. Also the staff was very kind. It was possible for us to extend our stay at the hotel for one more night. We would definately come back again.

The rooms are rather small but this is due to the historic way the hotel was built, which gives it the special and authentic touch. Besides that, absoluetly nothing further to say.

Great hotel, really comfortable and pet friendly. Staff were very helpful. Location was perfect.

Car parking (using the hotel's pass to access parking then dropping it off when we left) was complicated! Mainly because of the one-way systems around the hotel. If we go back I'd try to find another solution, or just walk from one further away.

staff was very friendly and helpful, location is perfect, room was clean and the best of all was the patio access if you have a dog and bicycles.

the parking of course is expensive and not close to the hotel

Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Lisa our receptionist who was very pleasant Location excellent, right beside la petite plage and main shopping/restaurant areas Our room was clean and well laid out, not extra big but plenty of room, it had a real old world Parisian feel to it

Staff very welcoming, well informed. Location perfect for beach, bars and restaurants. Main shopping centre 150 yards Hotel located on narrow pedestrian street, plenty of atmosphere. This area closes down at 11pm which makes it quiet in the early hours.

Hot breakfast not cooked to order.
