Novotel Nadi

Nice big property with good facilities - Breakfast was good and staff were lovely. Kids loved it and the pool. Good proximity to airport with a supermarket only a few minutes walk from the lobby. The moko (lizards) and frogs that visit the properties in the evenings are always a highlight for the kids lol.

When we arrived at 2pm on our first stay on New Years day the rooms weren't ready for another 90 to 120mins and it was very hot. We understand that they may have been short staffed for New Years day but for what we paid on the for the rooms on that day some compensation would've been appreciated considering we couldn't get in to our rooms when at check in time. Albeit was a good stay in general this was a little annoyance for us. Kids menu for restaurant would be a good addition :)

Great location, only 5 mins from airport. Food was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice grounds.

Bathroom needed some attention

Lovely staff, very well kept facilities. Good value if you don't want to pay for an extortionate resort. Not by the beach but only a short taxi ride from many great locations. I love that the pool is open 24 hours, great for middle of the night dips when I couldn't sleep. Room very clean and well serviced every day. Restaurant is fine, menu selection isn't huge but the food was tasty. Convenient that they have a shop and a gym on site.

Couldn't get consistent temperature out of the shower, was either too hot or too cold. But this was only a minor issue.

Arrived early at 10.00 am and hotel had no issues checking us in early and even gave us an upgraded room! We have stayed at this hotel several times and know what to expect. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast is good. Hotel is a 5 minute drive from the airport (no airport noise). Taxi fare is Fiji$15. You could walk it in 15 minutes, but not recommended if the temp is 30C. Rooms and facilities are a bit dated but otherwise clean and tidy, just remember this is Fiji and not the USA, UK or Australia, so make some allowances for some things not being quite up to point. When we checked out, the hotel had Taxi's waiting to take us to the airport. We used the hotel for a transit stop and whilst there we visited Denerau Marina which was a Fiji$40 taxi fare. Hotel has a nice pool and open grounds.

Rooms and facilities are a bit tired but otherwise clean and tidy. From experience, when something breaks down in Fiji it takes a while for it to be fixed.

The staff was accommodating to my family, especially to my mum's disability. We arrived early, about 1100hrs. Even though the check-in is 1400hrs, they manage to check us in early. Our room was easy to access, allowing my mum and kids to move freely. I have been around the world and have come across some hotels that are not worth what you paid. But Novotel Nadi is worth the penny you spend for. Breakfast is top-notch, and Dinner is perfect—a compliment to the Chef and staff for their excellent hospitality. The hotel is close to the shopping center, about 680 meters away, so a walking distance. I love the quietness of the area and the hotel got its old charm. The bonus part is close to Nadi Airport. I love it and so do my kids; they love it indefinitely, and we will visit again.

None. But I believe people need to manage their expectations.

The Novotel, formerly 'The Mocombo' is a 40+ year grand Fijian Hotel. Originally, a high 4 star hotel in it's day, this establishment still looks grand on the hill from the road. Great established gardens, large rooms with fabulous views and high ceilings characterise this establishment. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The bed was excellent and the air-conditioning effective and quiet. Our evening meal, a Mongolian Barbeque was tasty and good value.

Not much! The carpet in the room was tired and the bathroom shower area could have cleaner grout.

I booked my team at Novotel Nadi on a business trip. An incoming cyclone meant it was likely some roads to the airport were going flood. We needed to move to higher ground to make our departure flights. Novotel was comfortable, close to the airport, and five minutes from the coworking space we were using. Restaurant and rooms were fantastic. Staff were very helpful in arranging the move. Highly recommend if travelling for work

Wifi connection in rooms was patchy. Partly weather, partly Fiji.

nice breakfast, great friendly staff, cute but old hotel. convenient for our walk around nadi town and our early morning airport trip. despite my easy-to-correct negative comments (pretty minor) i would return.

minor criticisms: the dated room design could be better. the lighting is too bright, hospital-white, no convenient sockets for charging phones etc, no amenities in the room. the door to the balcony was almost impossible to open, only one chair outside.

The room is so clean, enough space and the view is amazing. Breakfast is so yummy, the staff at the breakfast, the staff at check in, beyond amazing. One of the best staff I have encountered in this trip. The easy and near access to the airport. The taxi drivers at the hotel, are nice and honest, did not overcharge, like 2 other hotels I stayed this year in June and August. I recomend this hotel to travellers.

Nothing. All I encounter is beyond amazing. I say this because I stayed at Holiday Inn, in Dec 13, it was awful, my room was not ready at 2.30pm even though check in was at 2pm. At Holiday Inn, I paid extra for 2 beds and ground floor, I had to wait while staff bring in a bed from another room. This is why, my experience with the Staff at Novotel Nadi is beyond amazing. Customer service, friendly, and helful, the way Fiji should be.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the restaurant and housekeeping staff. A pretty good breakfast spread. The privacy of the rooms. The location is excellent and overall the vibe of the place is great. Lovely views of the golf course and the mountains.

The rooms could do with a bit of revamping, some parts, especially the bathrooms are old and it is evident. The bathtub isn't too appealing either, they need to live up to the brand name. The chairs need replacing.
