Tanoa Waterfront Hotel

Good service provided by staff. Room was clean and comfortable to stay in. Amenities were in good condition and room was in a good location of the property

For breakfast the restaurant did not have alternative milk like Soy or Almond. This is very poor in this day and age. Their Manager needs to look at these things as the requirements for guests are changing. Also the juice provided with breakfast was full of sugar, no other options available. They can improve on this. Other Hotels are providing these options now and guests do not mind pay extra

We booked the rooms for our family of 7. All facilities are provided as mentioned. Cleaned and well maintained rooms. The best thing was that they serviced the room every morning without requesting, i was impressed. Pool is well maintained and instagram worthy. My kids enjoyed the pool and wife enjoyed taking photos. The greenery and plants by the pool add to the beauty. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast buffet was awesome, better than a lot of other places. The staff .. remembered our family by name. One of them even made my favourite cappuccino every morning. They were easily available for any requests via phone. The room service for dinner was great. Their menu is also good. Location is good, has a waterfront view across the road, great for walks. They also have a bar with pool table open till late. I read they also have live music concert every Fri night but we had arrived on Fri so didn't get a chance to experience it.

Check in was late as they were still cleaning the room. We got our room past 4 pm whereas it mentions 2 pm on the website. We got rooms that were in totally different wings. Bit difficult for parents to climb stairs but they didn't have any other rooms available I guess. I thought when we booked rooms for family they would try to accommodate us together. That was the only drawback.

The toilet and shower facility had a weird smell, it was for the duration of our stay, I suspect the traps needed flushing out

No one came to take our bags when we checked out. It was very early in the morning n I don't think the desk staff were busy at the time. 2 elderly people do need help for these things.

Amazing costumer service, amenities are very clean and great pool area. We love the buffet breakfast, delicious and full of fresh fruits.

Lovely hotel with beautiful gardens and an inviting pool. Large, clean rooms which were serviced daily (if required). On-site restaurant with excellent service and good food. Beautiful views with the water right in front of the hotel. Local shops with many supermarkets and little food stores within walking distance and there were lots of taxis available if needed.

Lautoka was a little isolated when trying to arrange tours. The transfer costs to meet tours in Nadi were approx. $30-$40 per person. It is a local town, so not much for the tourist, although this is where the cruise ships dock.

We stayed at Tanoa Waterfront Hotel and I would give the staff a 5 star rating. Our stay was for 7 nights and there was not one day that we were unhappy. Each and every staff member was exceptional. The rooms were large and very comfortable. We stayed in the Executive room for 3 nights and Superior room for 4 nights as we made 2 separate bookings. I will miss each and everyone of you and hope I get the opportunity to stay there again. Thank you Tanoa Waterfront Hotel for a beautiful and enjoyable time and making our stay very memorable.

There was nothing I didn't like with this hotel.

Great location in Lautoka, only a few minutes from the city. Cleanliness of facility was great. Onsite bar & restaurant was handy on the nights we didn't dine out. Pool was never over crowded & the hotel was quiet for the majority of our stay. Highlight of the hotel are definitely the staff - from the reception staff to the breakfast staff right through to the housekeepers! Everyone was so friendly & accommodating during our seven night stay - it really felt like home away from home. Mosese was a stand out for us - he went above & beyond to make our stay memorable from his friendly smile to his excellent service every night. Tanoa Waterfront will definitely be our choice to stay if we return to Fiji.

Our room was spotlessly clean and well presented. The pool area was great and again very well kept. Gardens are in great order. We appreciate the fact that the staff made an effort to remember your name, they were very polite. Looked out to the sea and over to Bekana Island, lovely view.

Only negative is where the aircon was placed it blew directly onto the bed. We did have the option of a fan so used that instead when sleeping. I paid some of my bill in cash yet they still 3% as if I had paid by credit card, didn't think that should have happened.

Very nice and tidy hotel. We had our flights changed so we had to find accommodation for an extra night so decided to try out Lautoka since we had a rental car. Nice spot on the waterfront. Room had two double beds, good air con and other amenities. Had patio with access to the swimming pool which was really lovely and a good temperature to swim in. Hotel staff really nice and accommodating. Loads of free parking.

Nothing. Only comment would be maybe a few more food options on the restaurant menu.
