Milling Hotel Park

The location is very nice. We arrived on Sunday and were very warm welcomed. There is free coffee and tea available and an ice-cream machine! Until someone broke it. Free cakes in the afternoon. Received good tips about the activities in the area and restaurants.

When we made the booking we received “warnings” about how busy the restaurant was and that we had to make reservations. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed (on Sunday?!). Friendliness of staff varies a lot. When we arrived we felt very welcome, the next day available staff seemed to ignore us.

We only stayed for one night and had a buffet breakfast before we left for our day activity. Breakfast was good enough for us and i don't mind if i have the same breakfast spread for another one or two more days. :) The staffs at the reception area were very friendly especially the lady staff and we had a very good chat.

Only a small issue was the toilet light kept auto switched off when you visit the toilet a little bit longer. lol Overall not much negative things to talk about staying here.

Very good location, with a hotel packed with things. Very very helpful staff and a good breakfast. We also had a free cake buffet as well. Plenty of board games and a pool table. There is a hidden path too and from the train station as well

The room didn't have a window you could vent. It led onto a very nice balcony but meant we had the only ventilation closed. Also the bathroom light was on a very short timer, so turned off regularly during the shower. These are very minimal complaints, the hotel is excellent

The area for breakfast and restaurant was very nice. The breakfast was very good, good variety. Staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was very big, which it made very easy for us travelling with twins with a big stroller. Also we had no issues to go around with the stroller. They accept dogs also and give solutions to be able to eat in the restaurant with your pet (giving an area for that!). They have a buffet for dinner, and even we arrived a bit late, the receptionist asked to let us have dinner to take away to eat in our bedroom which was really sweet from her! And last but not least, I got my period by surprise and I could buy pads in the reception, which saved me! Even with what I wrote in the things to improve, I would totally recommend this place.

The shower in the room was not draining properly, since there was no barrier in the floor half toilet was with water and you had to be careful to not do a mess. It would be great they leave some mop (maybe there was and we did not see). In the next morning, a very disgusting bug appeared I believe from the shower drain, only one bug though but I have phobia to insects in general 😅

Very good breakfast (included in the price). Free coffee/tea and ice cream during the day. Large and clean bathroom.

Bathroom light was controlled by a motion sensor. This means if you had to get up in the middle of the night, the light would turn on automatically, which is not necessarily what you want, especially not if you are two people sleeping in the room. Problem could be solved though, by not putting the keycard in its holder at the entrance door, but that meant that there was no electricity in the room for charging mobile phones etc.

This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. We landed on it by chance, and had no real reason to be visiting Middelfart other than that it was on the way from Legoland to Odense, but I'm very glad we chose this place. Much better than I was expecting from the photos in fact. It has a fabulous, enormous light and airy dining room, which still managed to be calm and quiet and was a pleasure to have supper and breakfast in. The kids were wild about the self-service ice-cream machine! Both the waiting staff and reception staff were lovely, and the receptionist was brilliant about changing our room which faced the road to a room which was perfectly quiet. We had a family room and it was enormous, easily fitting a big double bed and two sofabeds. And it's well located for a pretty walk down to the magical Middelfart marina.

Nothing really. Perhaps there could have been better gluten and dairy free options for breakfast.

breakfast was good , free coffee and free ice machine 24 hours a day is an interesting option which compensate having no coffee or tea maker at room .Family room size is good and hotel design and hotel restaurant space is warmly comfortable to sit and speak together . Location were great tough we just went there to sleep and continue our route but went out walking to some port and bridge .Old 2 layer windows was technically interesting for me which did the insulating job more than expected .

Generally in europe seems hotels misses some facilities which is common in Asia, Scandinavia seems to be on the edge for this . We rather to have a small fridge at room to keep some fresh fruit .had a red spot on inside of one of the blankets , maybe get hidden from sight tough shall repeat that generally hotel was so clean .

You'll find this large hotel just on a five minutes walk from the station. The entrance is next to a huge dining room, which makes it attractive as a stop-over for bus touring. Good breakfast, and what I in particular liked was the free coffee served all day. There is a soft-ice machine as well, also free of use. I missed the cakes and cookies afternoon tea. Such extra's makes life pleasant!

The bed in the small single occupancy room was quite narrow. 80 cm wide I guess. Could have been wider. You'll have to look on a (digital) map as no signs at the station mention what way to go.

1. The hotel is extremely child-friendly. There is a play room, free hot chocolate and ice cream and other things to do and discover for children. 2. Eight charging stations for electric cars to charge overnight. Excellent. 3. Clean rooms and common areas. 4. Friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed at a weekend and it was quite noisy outside (drunk people, revving engines, that kind of noise).

Great location. Old fashioned style hotel but very good quality. Great bar. Reasonably priced evening meal options.Delicious buffet on our arrival. Breakfast was excellent so much variety and huge quantity regularly replenished. Helpful staff.

Curtains on windows are not blackout so you are woken by daylight. At table where I sat for dinner there were soup stains on the sill of the glass.
