Vejle Center Hotel

Very friendly staff. Good location - it's max 15min walk to the city centre and is easy to find by car. They have free parking, which was a big plus for us. Good breakfast buffet. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Loved that they have an electric cattle and some tea in the room. And it was very quiet.

The carpet in the room could have a deep cleaning. It was triggering my dust allergy even with the window open.

The hotel was very well presented. The rooms were clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good selection of food for breakfast. It is a very nice walk along the river into the town centre, where there is a wide variety of restaurants and shops.

I only had dinner in the restaurant once, and the food was not great. The burger was nice, but the chips were massively over-salted, making them practically inedible for me.

The nature was amazing. Consider that Vejle is a small town but location of the hotel is nearby the vejle river. Shopping malls and center 1 km away the hotel. We reached legoland after 45min bus trip with a shuttle bus for free.

Young people may find the city so tranquil and mundane. But this was not true for us with a 5 year old son.

Green surroundings, quiet, excellent breakfast, nice bar, comfortable room to rest and just be there. Small stream just next door. It felt good to walk to town, which was very near, along this small river.

The beds/mattress could have been firmer. It was too soft for my back.

Really spacious room so we could easily fit our portable crib. Kids playroom in the lobby was an unexpected treat. Easy parking was more important for us than location, but it was quick and easy to drive into the centre of town. Breakfast was good, but not as grand as some Scandinavian breakfasts are.

No fridge in the room so I had to improvise with a sink of cold water; thankfully there were double sinks. The sheets weren't fitted so they moved around and exposed the mattress more than I would like.

Breakfast was very good indeed but also very busy and not enough seats if you come down late. Staff very welcoming and helpful.

Room was not cleaned during our 4 day stay. Breakfast room got very busy and no seats if you waited until later. We had water dripping on our children on the final evening- not that much of a problem but we moved their beds out of the way and wasn’t very clean when we moved them.

Great staff and excellent breakfast at this hotel. The location is excellent with the center of town being only a short 10 min walk up the river which is quite pretty. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Ironing and Laundry facilities are available downstairs which is convenient. Overall a lovely hotel to stay in.

Beat the rush for breakfast otherwise you may find it hard to find a place to sit.

Restaurant expensive and food just average. Breakfast seems reasonable at £14 but I only had it once. There didn't seem to be anything like toast available sadly.

Great hotel along the bike trail from Esbjerg to Aarhus . The reception was very friendly and helpful . Large very clean and bright room . Bathroom clean and had toiletries. Chairs and bed comfortable. Very nice on-site restaurant with good food choices. Good breakfast with many food choices. Good secure bike storage.
