Milling Hotel Ansgar

It was a good basic & convenient hotel for a “pit stop” in our holiday. It is pretty quiet, very clean & quite comfortable. We also had an excellent included breakfast in the hotel. We also lucked & got one of the remaining free car parks. Finally, it is very close to a huge range of good restaurants & bars! All in all, quite good value & worth a look

Parking was a bit tricky & limited, but in saying that, we were to park for free which was great! The access to the street, however, is a bit dangerous as the street is very narrow & a tour bus (for other guests in the hotel) parks partly across the driveway. Other than that - not much

Good room at reasonable price. Very good breakfast included. Well situated with respect both to the city center and the harbor area and a short walk from the food market at Storms pakhus.

The shower and the wash basin shared the lower floor area of the bathroom so that the shower water was all over the floor when standing at the basin and wetting your feet. Too little space for hanging clothes.

The breakfast room had a great variety of fresh foods, etc. The hotel was well-located, close to a number of points of interest

Unfortunately, we cut our stay by an additional night because of the extremely loud rock concert across the street; admittedly-not the hotel’s fault, but with the windows closed, the noise was deafening and the room became airless after while

Great location and despite being on a main street, fairly decent insulation from street noise and train station. Decent breakfast was included (though crepes ran out fast), and there's a coffee station in the lobby. Good, quiet, no frills hotel that's far above the cabin experience that's only a bit cheaper.

Wifi was mediocre and the elevator was from a few decades ago - just one and had to wait for it quite a bit during the breakfast rush. No real complaints though.

The hotel's location is excellent, we are easily close to all the city's points of interest. Breakfast is very nice and with a lot of variety. Extra point for the snack that is offered to guests in the late afternoon (I don't know if it only happens during the Christmas season, but it warmed our hearts!)

Despite the room area being quite generous, it seems to me that it needs some maintenance. In fact, the hotel is well preserved, but seems to have stopped in the 80s. Maybe it needs some modernization (more minimalist carpets and drapes, more modern furniture...)

Great location, close to the park (King's Garden), theatre and city center. Walking distance to H.C. Andersen's house. Very nice big and clean room & bathroom. We were traveling with two dogs and the hotel is very convenient for pets. Very good breakfast included. Very comfortable beds. Private parking.

We spent an hour waiting for check-in due to the hotel system issue. This happens sometimes, so no issues, we were waiting patiently. However, the staff did not let us know after this hour, that the issue is solved and check-in is possible. We were still waiting with other guests in the lobby. Only one member of staff at the reception desk was speaking English at the moment. Extra payment for dog 250 DKK

Very close to the train station, decent breakfast buffet was included, staff was very nice. The coffee and cookies available all day by the reception were a nice touch.

The room was somewhat small, and hotel is either "retro cool" or "in need of an update" depending on your preferences.

Free coffee and water in the lobby - Central location

Room was a bit too small for the rate I was paying - Noise from a vent outside the room all night - Set up for breakfast buffet could be more efficient. As soon as there were several people serving themselves, it got very crowded.

Nothing stand out in particular. It was a nice hotel for the price, nothing to complain. It had free coffee in the hall, but apparently it is common here.

in particular, the bathroom. But, even this, seemed common here. smalla bathroom with the shower in the middle, for me it is crazy, but whatever…

The young lady that was in the reception the evening that we arrived was super friendly and helpful. We arrived on Thursday 26th August. Thank you! The lady the next morning was not of same caliber. Looked more into the computer and I felt like I was a burden for her when I ask questions. Breakfast was GREAT! Location very central! Rooms comfortable.
