Berlor Airport Inn

The friendliness of the front end staff who greeted us. I wish I could remember the very nice young ladies name, who was on the front desk that night! No matter what we asked for, she helped us with such a friendly attitude. Also the very nice man who also worked that evening, who delivered our pizza to our room. Very clean place, lovely clean pool and beautiful garden. Decent breakfast! Thank you for making our stay so special. We would definitely stay again.

Just that it was impossible to get a taxi to their hotel because of the short distance! All cab drivers kept refusing us! They DEFINITELY need their shuttle back! We were so stressed until some lady asked her friend to drive us for a fee! We tipped him well!

Room was spacious. Beds were comfortable. Very quiet. Breakfast in the morning was good. Location was close to the airport (only $5), but the driver had a terrible time finding it. We arrived at 11pm, but they were very accommodating. Some confusion on my part because Booking told me that part of the stay had been paid which was not true. We were renting from Adobe and they were next door, so very convenient. Only downside is how busy the road was

The location was very convenient for staying near the airport. We needed to stay one night after our plane landed very late in San Jose. This hotel offered us a check in at 2 AM which was incredibly convenient. The facilities were great and comfortable. Beautiful room, beautiful hotel, and all very eco conscious. The breakfast was nice too - fruit, egg, toast and tea/ coffee. We didn’t have time to use the pool but they had a cute little yard that was beautiful and clean with a pool.

It was very loud. You could hear everything in the hallway. I was woken up by people talking in the hallway. Also you can hear planes landing and taking off as it’s right near the airport.

The location was great, very close to the airport and convenient for a late night arrival. They had a 24-hour concierge unlike other nearby establishments, and it was very safe. The breakfast was very good, and the courtyard is beautiful! The rooms are very clean.

The ony thing I didn't like is that they use this horrible over[powering air freshener that gave me a terrible headache. Also the noise from the airplanes are very loud as they land pretty much overhead. But they do provide earplugs at the front desk which is great, and I would highly recommend using them.

Great location for the airport. Stayed a couple of nights to prep ourselves for the long journey home. Great fun to see the planes going straight over. It really felt like a little oasis in the middle of the city. Short taxi ride to Alajuela too which was a nice day trip to somewhere not too touristy. Room was huge too and we loved the pool and the ability to just sit outside and chill.

The outside looks a bit worrying but all fine once you get in. A nice secret gem in fact. Not much choice for breakfast but good enough. Not much around you, so you have to travel to find somewhere for dinner but then you stay here for a night before a flight, not as a destination in itself.

For a quick stop for a night, this is great. The receptionist when we arrived was so kind. Our clothes were washed over night, ready before our 6am departure. We could easily order a quick great pizza and ate by the swimming pool. All very nice. The receptionist couldn't do enough for us - wonderful person!

The room was very small with a tiny old bathroom and window onto the hallway. We didn't need much but not good for longer stays - especially of paying full price. The breakfast was not very nice - egg shell on toast!

It’s super close to the airport, the bed was super comfy and the breakfast was great! Front desk staff is the best! He was super helpful and had a great attitude even though we arrived late and left very early. He made sure we had our breakfast and coffee ready in to go containers to be able to leave on time. Amazing service!

Parking can be tough since there’s just a few aposta available, and the street where it’s located is small and very busy

Very nice garden with well maintained swimming pool. Very convenient location for airport and usual car rentals. New, well maintained facilities. Excellent A/C (important given tiny room size and not really usable window opening)

Garden immediately in airport landing corridor! However not too many flights and surprisingly acceptable airplane noise level when inside building (in garden rather scary though ;-) Our room was very tiny but had been informed clearly as such.

We stayed in Room 8 which has a window to the garden and was perfect; quiet and you hear the pool fountain. Check in was easy and to park the car. Breakfast was great also- you can choose cooked breakfast and make your own coffee as you like. They have a fridge with drinks, snacks and toiletries to purchase which is a great idea. There are towels for the pool and reception has a nice lounge area. Perfect stay, would recommend!

We chose Berlor because it was right beside our car rental place--Adobe Car Rental. We were delighted to find it to be a quiet secluded, and beautiful place. There's a courtyard with pool, flowers, and tables for breakfast. The rooms were very nice and the staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Restaurants and grocery were close by. We ended up changing our plans so that we could stay there again after we returned our rental car.
