Sonesta Hotel Cali

Breakfast was diverse, with local recipes and excellent service. It would be great if they included non-gluten options. The room is clean and comfortable, and the location is just around my needs.

The coffee offered with the breakfast could be better: always paid for an additional offer. The air conditioner had no fan option, and they tried to fix it with no luck...

Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good and hot. I'll probably return. Location, professionalism of the staff, waitress, easy access downtown, gym, sauna. etc...

My electrical socket in the bathroom was not functioning. I reported it, they looked at it and said they would fix it the next day... I stayed 11 days but they never repaired the electrical outlet... Disappointed but that's ok. More clean towels and fresh water in the gym.

All staff were extremely attentive and friendly. All provided amazing service. Leonardo (one of the drivers at the main entrance) deserves a promotion. He provided incredible service.

Toilets need better water pressure. Every time you flush, the toilet gets dirty and you have to hold down the flusher.

Friendly staff, good customer service. Room service food and breakfast were good. The bed is very comfortable with nice soft pillows. I slept very well here. Blockout blind and good air conditioning. Nice big bath and good hot water service. I picked this hotel due to it having a bath, and I got good use out of that. Shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion were provided, which were all really good. Wi-Fi worked well, I work remotely full-time so I had no issues there. Good desk and a comfortable chair for me to work from. Very quiet at nighttime. A great stay and I will definitely return before I leave Cali.

Check-in took a while as I had to provide a copy of my visa extension. It took two emails and then a message via WhatsApp before the receptionist received it. I wasn't allowed to check in until they had it. I wish I knew beforehand as it could have saved time. Construction going on next door during the day so it can be a bit noisy. Coffee maker in the room but no coffee was provided, I didn't ask reception as I was only there for one night, so unsure if there was supposed to be any in the room. No room service menus in the room, only a QR code, when I downloaded that it still didn't have the menu, only information on the hotel. Still a great place though, and these little things wouldn't stop me from returning.

The facilities of the hotel are great- the jacuzzi, the sauna, the pool on the roof. The staff was always helpful and friendly. The breakfast selection was good. Worth visiting.

It is not a new and fresh hotel and some things may need a repair (some drawers were broken in our room). The ready-made coffee in the morning was not good and we had to pay extra every morning for ordering a capuccino or espresso.

Its our 2nd visit to a Sonesta branded hotel. We like the experience and comfort associated with staying there. My wife especially liked very much the bathtub in our bedroom.

Our hotel bedroom lacked wall hooks and it could have had another table to put luggage on. The red breakfast chairs were looking a little worse for wear. Some need to be fixed or replaced. The wood planks around the pool are warped and need paint.

Breakfast was amazing. Coffee was excellent, Servers were very attentive for the most part. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed the company of the bartender, Overall, a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff.

Location was ok. Neighborhood around hotel was safe but there were nearby areas that seemed a bit sketchy. Sometimes servers at breakfast seemed to dote on certain guests and were slow to serve other guests.

The Staff is extremely professional and helpful. The hotel drivers are always available and the safe way to move around the city. Luis was very helpful and courteous.

The staff was very kind and they allowed us to do an early check-in, which made us easier our staying. The facilities are modern and clean and also easy to access all the Cali touristic spots.

I suggest to check how fresh are some dishes at the restaurant, however, in general terms the food was good.

Great value, if they keep these rates, I will continue to stay here every time I visit Cali. If they raise them, there are plenty other options. Sauna, massage spa, and jacuzzi were great.

Front desk staff is overworked, not enough people, so any time you call or need to go there, they are really stressed as there are always people waiting. They need to hire more people for the reception.
