Grand Hyatt Bogota

What I liked most was that every day there was a surprise, like having sleepers or extra luggage racks after our daily room service. Breakfast was always awesome and there was never the same menu. Some items remained but we always found something new to try. The decoration of every space was simply spectacular. We loved the fresh flower arrangements, tropical leaves, the small electric fireplaces, and specially, the ethnic decoration incredibly matched with updated and modern items and colors. Staff was very welcoming and polite, and reflected how well they have been trained and managed. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were a perfect addition to our stay, and the gym was perfect for keeping our exercise routines while away from home. Of course, the coffee was always great. Every space was in pristine condition. It is very well located in the city and there were several options nearby the hotel for dining or getting last minute items, like snacks or medicines; not to mention that there is a nice mall in about three blocks walk.

We stayed here for a day and night on our way back from La Paz. This was our second time. We paid a little extra for a room upgrade so that we could check-in early in the morning. Our room was modern, very spacious, clean and comfortable. There was also a fantastic view of the city. The toiletries were very nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent - diverse, fresh and delicious. Room service was great. We enjoyed dinner at the Japanese restaurant on the top floor. The pool/sauna/gym complex is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We also had one of the best massages of our lives at the spa.

Elegant hotel with great taste in decorations. The room was very quiet despite facing a major road (Ave El Dorado - Av 26). The room was spacious, clean, bed very comfortable. Bathroom big, clean and great shower with really nice toiletries. Breakfast buffet was very generous with great variety. Most staff was very friendly. We did not use the pool area but visited and it looked great with several pools and jacuzzis

Check-in and check-out were slow, both waiting and the actual process could be quicker. Minor issues. The juices at breakfast and for room service were not 100% natural (e.g. orange juice was not freshly squeezed, even though we were told it was when we ordered room service). More options of teas (like non-caffeinated) would have been nice in the room, as well as things to stir the drinks. Overall we were very happy with our stay so these are minor issues

The room was spacious and very quiet and peaceful. The Grand Lounge was a very useful feature. The staff at the hotel were all very cheerful and helpful. The spa was fabulous and the restaurants were also of very high quality. Overall the best hotel I have stayed at in Colombia by a very big margin.

Some minor annoyances with the lighting in the room - but this was taken care of by the electrician without any drama.

The Grand Hyatt is top notch! Professional staff and service! English speaking also available. The staff is very friendly, courteous, beyond helpful! The property is exceptionally clean, rooms are spacious and quiet, comfy beds and high quality linens! Spa is great. Nice big fitness center. Multiple dining options which were all really good. Location is great! Quiet and safe neighborhood, 10 minute walk to 2 large shopping malls and restaurants and close to airport. The staff gets a 10+! They were so accommodating in assisting our group with everything from arranging drivers to visit Bogota tourist highlights, labs to come to hotel for Covid PCR tests, storing luggage for a week while we adventured to other Colombia destinations, bringing extra blankets and heaters to our rooms, laundry service, sourcing amazing restaurants to try, etc. You won't be disappointed with your stay at the Grand Hyatt! We stay here every time we visit Colombia!

The hotel is beautiful from the entrance to the rooms. The pool is gorgeous, the breakfast was amazing. The staff is super friendly, helping on any matters with a smile. The room was very confortable and spacious, the bathroom was very nice.

While checking in at the hotel, we were asked if we wanted to enjoy the pool... Of course, especially because it was our last day in Colombia and we had choosen this hotel for the pool for the kids. And at this point they tell me that we need to make a reservation and that the only availibility is from 6am to 8am.... I was so confused because we had not received any communication from the hotel regarding this constraint which was for us HUGE. But after arguing a little bit they managed to give us two time slot of 2 hours... It was good enough for us and I appreciated they found a solution quickly. But at the end, we were never more than 13 in the pool at the same time... when the COVID rule said 35... so I don t understand why they first told us there was no availbility.

The room service and all the staff are very friendly, and always helpful! The premises - the hallway, rooms, gym/wellness area - are modern, comfortable and spaceous. The wellness area includes a sauna and a steamer, which round up the 4 (whirl)pools.

Due to the current Covid situation it was very unfortunate that the pool/wellness area needed registration with the max. Amount of 32 people. Upon arrival we Weren't able to freely use that area, because a big group already reserved it for the whole day.. That was really disappointing.

The services at the Hotel were amazing. The restaurant has very good food and the included breakfast is amazing. The room was big and confortable, has a lot really cool tech gadgets for light control. The Spa and swiming pool are cool free options to use.

The location is not that close to most of tourism attractions, but Uber and Taxis are always available at a good price to move around.

This is the Best Business Hotel I have stayed in Bogota Thus Far. Everything was on point from the check in to the Check out. The Room design and furniture, the staff is outstanding, the Fitness Area, the Spa, the Pool Area, and the Bar all exceed my expectations. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bogota.

One of the Few Hotels I do not have any complaints, everything met my expectations

We had a great stay at the Grand Hyatt, Bogota. The grand suite was thoughtfully designed space with large rooms and bathroom, and roof to floor sweeping views of the city and the surrounding mountains. Loved the hotel's location (on main ave connecting city to airport, near other major brands and several embassies). But by far the best thing about our stay was the staff! They readily accommodated every need especially our changed dates.

We have really had no issues with our stay.
