Embassy Suites by Hilton Bogotá - Rosales

Good location close to plenty of restaurants and in a safe part of the city. The room was comfortable whilst not luxurious with a good bathroom and comfy beds. One attraction of Embassy Suites is the manager's reception which provides free drinks and snacks for residents. On the one night (of two) when this was available it was very good. Breakfast was plentiful with a fair selection and attentive staff.

On our first evening the manager's reception proved to be unavailable at the advertised hour with the facility being given over to a dedicated promotion of a specialised gin - this started an hour later than we were advised, featured limited snacks and was very loud; much too loud for normal people to bear for more than five minutes so we left, without any complementary drinks. We had not been advised that this was the case when we had been checked in and told that the regular reception would be available at the normal time. This was disappointing.

What a perfect stay! The included breakfast was delicious and generous, with plenty of fresh fruit and an omelet station. The staff were all so kind and accommodating, including our driver and the front desk staff. We asked the front desk for help booking a reservation at a nearby restaurant for a group of nine, and they really came through—we arrived at the restaurant to discover we were seated in a private room! The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The neighborhood was safe and beautiful. Truly a wonderful spot!

We stayed at this Hilton our first night in Bogotá. It was exactly what you’d expect from a Hilton, so a bit lacking in character but also comforting and familiar for that initial time acclimating ourselves. We were cautious which neighbourhood to sleep in, and Chapinero was great - easy walking distance to lots of restaurants. Room was huge and very clean. They offered a complimentary happy hour which was a nice touch.

The hotel is a little old fashioned and could benefit from updating or modernising. Breakfast buffet was extensive, but their hot section had limited options for vegetarians.

Central location with a good breakfast and an evening snack included in room rate. There are wonderful restaurants, book shops and easy taxi pick up near by. For all the things to do in Bogotá it is hard to beat the value of Embassy Suites Rosales. We needed a safe place to rest our heads at night before we adventured out every day. Definitely coming back to visit.

Don’t forget to turn the fan on in the workout facility, it is close to the parking garage and occasionally smells like car fumes.

Staff is super helpful and ready to solve any situation. Infrastructure is correct. Spacious rooms, the suite concept is essential for long stays 4+ nights. TV in both rooms. Bed and linen are perfect. Shower is very good. Breakfast is excellent with slight changes every morning (fruits, juices, bread). I fully recommend this hotel especially for long stays and workation. I have had my parents (80+) with me and they've done great. The team really took care of them, made things easy for their stay, always with a smile.

Big room, nice dry sauna, great breakfast. Enjoyed the happy hour complementary drink & light snacks at the restaurant every late afternoon!! Nice shampoo & body soap!

Don’t have a electric kettle in the room.

The location the service and the room was great the only thing I would improve on is the decoration of the rooms could be a little bit more fancy the rooms were just a bit too basic but otherwise it was amazing everything was great we love the service of the location for breakfast was fantastic really very difficult to complain

The rooms were incredibly spacious with a separate lounge/office space. The hotel was close to restaurants and shopping areas.

cleanliness...long hairs in bathroom that seemed to stay for the entire duration and that did not belong to me. The staff spoke broken English and little information at hotel for tourists.

This hotel saved us... we booked a hotel on another side of the city and getting to the embassy suites was an 180 degree change for the good!... the location is amazing, we didnt get to enjoy all the facilities (brunch, breakfast, etc. cause we had an event, but would totally recommend it!

The location was terrific - so close to so many lovely restaurants in Chapinero - just perfect. We also enjoyed the happy hour from 530-730. A great place to stay with a family, they arranged extra beds for our kids and all was very comfortable.
