Sheraton Shanghai Hongkou Hotel

The breakfast and generally the food at the hotel was excellent! The room was big and luminous. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom/wc also spacious and well designed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There was only one chair in the room. I had to leave my bags on the desk or inside the closet otherwise I would have to sit on the bed. The amenities where very basic that you can find even in two stars hotel (slippers, soap & shampoo and hair cap) and you were asked if you want to have a toothbrush upon check in. Not enough information in the room about the hotel and its facilities.

Excellent staff & services. We felt like the room that we’ve got didn’t fit to our standards, mainly due to the cigarette’s odor. Someone must have smoked in there we’ve asked to change the room. Got an upgraded one, roomier and without odorless. When we were leaving the room, my wife has forgotten her expensive earphones under the pillow, so we’ve called the hotel and they have sent it to our home. Very good experience.

Didn’t have scrambled eggs for breakfast.

The breakfast was amazing and the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

The rooms don’t have air purifiers and the carpets were not well cleaned. My friend and I had sinus irritation when we were in the room. The bathroom door handle kept falling off and the tissue box in the bathroom was broken and old. The tap to the bathtub is not easy to open. The wall and floor stone are not well scrubbed .

the room was very good and amazing view of skyscrapers and a little river followed right next to the hotel and room service was nice too.

there were no bell boys available to take my luggage at time of check in and check out. So I had to hustle myself to take my baggage to my room after waiting for 15 mins for the bell boy he still didn’t show up.

Excelent location. We got the room on 27th floor with amazing view on whole Pudong. The breakfast is outstanding combining local and international taste. The pool and SPA area are cool for re-fresh.

The hotel has it year. Although it is very clean some parts are bit old (pool etc)

nice location , the room was tidy and clean and spacious enough the Yue restaurant is good ( chinese restaurant at 4th floor) aldo on the 37th floor it is nice area to have a snack and relax with nice view

the bath was out of order, i could only shower.. the breakfast is average

Everything was pretty comfortable and neat.

We didn’t have access to toothpaste and toothbrush and some other basic hygiene products which are usually set in the room, after a call to the reception it was delivered to our rooms.

The room was comfortable. But there was nothing in the refrigerator for late use.

Club lounge service hours may be longer.

The room and amenities were good. Kenny from the front office was fabulous. He was very hospitable. Sadly language was a barrier with many of the other staff but Kenny went out of his way to assist me.

overall the hotel in good location and metro station near by ( 1 min walk)
