Fairfield Inn by Marriott Montreal Downtown

Everything was very good! The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful! Breakfast was also very good and I love the fact that they serve hot breakfast and not just cold ones! The location is also close enough either by walking, train/bus or Uber to all the places I wanted to visit! The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable!

There was a very loud, disturbing, drilling construction noise all night long from around midnight all the way till the mornings around 7am; that honestly made my stay quite uncomfortable. Although everything else was good and I liked the hotel, I may not choose this hotel the next time around because of that annoying construction noise at weird hours. I feel like the hotel could’ve at least given guests a headsup about that! I’m a very light sleeper who can pretty much only sleep at nighttime so my night sleep is very crucial in me being able to function properly during the day; that annoying drilling construction noise was very disturbing to me!

Breakfast was much better than I expected. There was a wide range of choice from fresh fruit to scrambled eggs, toast to fresh cake, orange juice to fuming coffee. Personnel during breakfast was dynamic and smiley.

The breakfast room was often very crowded and there wasn't so much place to sit. It was actually not the hotel's fault but the guests who left tables messy, occupied space with their bags and often were rude and pushy at the buffet.

Good location, close to a metro station and also walkable distance to keg tourist spots. (unfortunately quite a lot if homeless people around the area) Spacious and comfortable rooms. Big TV with plenty of channels. Breakfast included. Mini fridge & hair dryer available in the room. Luggage storage available.

Limited seating at breakfast - so If advise to go before 9! Doors not always easy to open & elevator sometimes skip floors (they are aware…).

Everything like location it’s near metro & walking distance to fast foods & restaurants & breakfast was great. We recommend it. We’ve stayed at Fairfiled inn Marriott in Orlando, Florida & it’s lovely too. Bring comfy walking shoes & buy 3 day metro card saves you $.

A little pricey but worth it. We are from 🇱🇷 so our $ is a little more but no micro in our room but they have one in the lobby near front desk.

The hotel is close to the metro station, which has three lines pass through. The room is spacious and fully equipped. The free breakfast is great with a little change every day.

High room price. The room is dimly lit, which is not convenient for the business guest to work in the room. The drinking water machine in the fitness room ran out off water for more than two days

We had stayed there before and for that reason booked here again. The rooms are very nice (particularly the one bedroom suites) and the pricing is excellent. The complimentary breakfast had a wide variety and was very good. Considering the Covid restrictions, they have done an excellent job of creating a breakfast to satisfy just about anyone. There is parking onsite (although the spots are limited) and there is also parking nearby. Location is great with the Metro just up the street and Place Des Arts just a couple of blocks west. Will definitely stay here again.

Parking spaces are very small and would not recommend the parking if you are driving a full size pickup.

I was there a week Day 4 had to ask if they check rooms or clean Lady said every 2 days. She said will make sure we send someone by asap. Pre covid levels of cleaning don't seem to happen unless 5 star but should clarify when you check in ...I am tidy but a family of 5 would go crazy

Clean, comfortable beds, great customer services, and a decent breakfast selection. Considering that many hotels dont offer breakfast. Walking distance from Old Port and nice/casual restaurants. Worth it!

Parking was too expensive ($30 per day). However, the staff recommended a parking close enough for half of price.

Breakfast wasn't the best. But it might've been the case due to covid.

We liked the fact that it was very central to where we needed to go. Everything was within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful. We also made use of the gym which had everything we needed.

For the 3 nights we were there, we were woken up by construction at 6 in the morning just outside our windows in the alley. We understand that living in downtown Vancouver means there will be construction taking place, however I’m sure there are bylaws in place regarding when construction could take place. Although this is not Exchange’s problem, I would suggest getting a room not facing the alley.
