Residence Inn by Marriott Ottawa Airport

The room was beautiful. Very clean, spacious and fully equipped. I also appreciated the 12:00 check out time. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and this was definitely one of the nicest rooms we’ve stayed in!! I look forward to returning!!

The breakfast was decent. The selection and freshness of the breads and pastries was lacking. Overall I would say I’ve had better at other Marriott’s. The staff was very nice and the area was clean. I also would have liked an ice machine somewhere in the hotel I could have accessed. I wanted to fill up my water bottle with ice but there was no machine. I was told to make ice in the room but by then it was too late. The ladies at the front desk were kind enough to give me a cup of ice.

Breakfast fantastic, wide variety of options to choose from. We loved making our own waffles! what a treat!. Staff very cordial and polite, they were kind enough to allow us to stay an extra hour before checking out. Room was amazing, bed was comfortable and had more than enough space for both of us. Hotel in a nice area, lots of parking, lots of restaurants in the area. It was convenient for us as we were on a business trip and could literally walk to our conference location from the hotel. Would definitely would stay again.

The 1 Bedroom unit was a perfect choice for us as I get up early, so the separate Bedroom was good for my wife. Hot Breakfast is always a sign of a great hotel just wish they would have served Bacon. Location was very good, you can get to just about anywhere in Ottawa or Gatineau in about 30 Minutes. The underground parking was perfect for the weather they had at this time of year, and it's FREE.

The only major issue was that the mattress was a bit stiff and the fitted sheet was too small and kept coming off in the middle of the night, very frustrating.

The size of the suite was great. Plenty of room. Loved having the kitchen with the full-sized fridge. The breakfast was wonderful. Great selection. Loved the waffle maker and the boiled eggs. Sorry, the scrambled eggs were too runny for me. We would definitely stay here again. The price of the room was very reasonable for what you get.

A bit scary making the downward sharp turn into the parking garage when the outdoor spaces were full. But we appreciated having free parking and being able to access the hotel without having to go outside on a rainy day.

The suite is huge, with full kitchen and full size fridge. I would say the size of the unit is larger than many typical condo unit, which is very impressive. All room amenities are well maintained and clean. Good impression in general.

The breakfast is a bit on the bad side. The egg is good, but meat options are either so untasty or even unfresh. The bread is really dry and hard to chew. That really needs some improvements. The fridge is also a bit too noisy, noiser than the furnace.

King Studio Suites bathrooms were TEENSY WEENSY !! The door almost hit the toilet just walking in!! Pool extremely small. Gluten free bread at breakfast was a yucky high-carb not-healthy brand that tasted like sawdust!! Should switch to "Promise" brand which is waaaay better and good for Diabetics too (who are mindful of net carbs).

I have never been there and i had reserved the room for 100 for the night. When we walked in the room we were pleasantly surprised that it was like a suite with a kitchen, and sectional couch and beautiful bathroom area. Prices were reduced due to covid so I was not aware that it would be such a great room. Thank you

After i reserved the room on booking.com I sent a note that I was bringing my dogs. It says pet friendly. Later, after reserving, they informed me it was 100. For the dogs. This is the same price as the room. That is not what you call "friendly". I was not able to book anywhere else because it had no cancelation. This was 70% increase in dog clean up fee from other hotels. There are plenty of other hotels in ottawa. Next time I will be happy to choose a real "friendly" hotel. Not one charging a room rate for my babies. Even though the rooms are nice, I travel every month and rates are important to me. 7

The room was clean, beautiful and comfortable👏. It has everything (necessities such has stove top, cookware,coffee maker, every kitchen utensil ) you need in a home👍💪. I love the bed, I slept like a baby off course after a really full force warm shower🤗. You wake woke with a bright beautiful view of the sun feeling like you on a beach vacation😍(5th floor) The receptionist was very welcoming and the breakfast, OMG so filling and well made from a happy chef☺️( tasty🤤). Free parking and in a central location ( est 15min from downtown).😎 Did i mention price affordability ,its definitely worth every penny.👍 Not to keep going, they are flexible with their check out time. No one is banging at your door 15min to check out..They respect their clients👏💃

I did not like that l spent just one night😉,trust me you would love an extra night.

Staff were super friendly. There is lots of parking (free), good breakfast (free). Room was quiet (except for 5am snow plows grrr), comfortable, and large. In-room kitchen was terrific and clean. Exercise room and pool area were great, lots of weights.

Hotels with pools should offer bathrobes to get to the pool area. It’s always a little awkward.

The room was very spacious and clean. There was a wide variety of foods to choose from the continental breakfast. All of which were organized in a logical manner. The pool was warm when compared to others

The room was way too cold and the temperature on the thermostat could not be adjusted because it was preset. The room was also missing dish-washing detergent.
