TownePlace Suites by Marriott Toronto Northeast/Markham

This property had every amenity that we could imagine: kitchenware, utensils, toiletries, etc. Anything that the room didn’t have was only a call away. Also, the staff ensured that anyone placing a delivery order must consent to the delivery person traveling beyond the lobby. The staff ensures that all residents were safe and that made the stay that much more comfortable.

A few outlets in the room weren’t functional, specifically the ones at the bedsides. However, there were well over 10+ outlets in the room, so all electronics were easily charged.

The suite was large enough and comfortable. There's lots of parking, as well as a pool, gym, and laundry, which all were great for a family stay.

Breakfast was pretty bad. Most basic ever, and not in line with this hotel's price range. The main bed was great, but the opening bed for kids was pretty awful. Kids didn't find it comfortable, and I wasn't able to even lie on it.

Staff were very friendly and greeted you every time you walked by the desk. They even assisted me with car troubles (car battery died from a light being left on). Room was big enough to accommodate everyone plus an added bonus of a mini kitchen to cook meals. Close to the highway and close enough to travel the surrounding areas. Will definitely stay here next visit.

Easy to get to off Hwy 407 or 401. Pool was open by reservation… large pool, warm and relaxing. Parking was extra but very convenient. Having a kitchenette is amazing when travelling as a family… full size refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, small stove top and dishwasher. Really liked that you needed a room key in order to access the guest floors via elevator.

The take-away breakfast was nice but due to Covid, some of it was prepackaged and not the best (e.g. muffins). But it was a hearty breakfast and very convenient.

Spacious, clean, nice view at the breakfast lounge . Nice view in room and decent kitchenette setup. Great for heating up leftovers

Bed can be more firm. Maybe instead of sofa bed option offer triple bedrooms or two queen beds. Prices are a bit high given the location

There is a machine under the window. The outlet mesh of the air was dirty. I think it should be cleaned. And We are not sure if the machine is a fresh air system or a air conditioner. Can the fresh air get into the room since all window is sealed.

didn’t make adjustments for breakfast as daughter was in swim meet and we left hotel before it started. Disappointed as other hotels in the area made adjustments to change the time for breakfast so it was available for swim kids.

Everything was perfect. Parking undercover and breakfast were included.

I wish the buffet breakfast has more varieties and more green veggies. The dishwasher did not really wash.

The parking situation was confusing and I didn’t realize I would be charged extra for parking, which I was told when I checked in. That was a little disconcerting and I didn’t appreciate it
