Comfort Inn Truro

Good location.there are many restaurants around.and there is one “great tiger” supermarket,it is easier to buy something needed. Very good for short stay.

It’s not very soundproof,there are two young couple in and out their room many times and speak when they pass through the corridor,we can hear very clearly.

the staff are the friendliest here than at any hotel I’ve stayed at previously! super clean, everyone was extremely accommodating to my flight cancellations and delays I was dealing with, clean, good service, all over amazing stay!

the only thing I can pick on is that the bagged breakfasts suck. other than that the stay was amazing and would definitely be staying again, just stuck to timmys for my breakfast!

Can never understand why television’s are bed level ,we were tired from our trip and just wanted to lay n bed and watch the news unfortunately we had to watch the screen with our toes in the way. Many hotels do this ,can’t understand why.

the strong black coffee was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable staff,

I would like the TV mounted higher (maybe level with the top of the mirror) this may be due to the glasses that I wear but it cold be much easier to lay in bed without hurting my neck

The location was good. Right off the hwy & near eating establishments. Our breakfast staff Holly was great. All the staff were very helpful and polite. Always enough food to eat at breakfast. A nice variety.

Hot and cold breakfast Buffet and the amount of food was great. The location was just off the highway exit. Perfect. Staff in the buffet area were polite and helpful.

Nothing at all. I very much liked it. wed felt comfortable and like we were home.

It was conveniently located. I had a first floor room. The staff were great! They changed my room upon request. They allow dogs which is awesome for me.

So the facilities have seen better days. That’s not the fault of the staff. It’s just a little dingy. It’s very popular so could be a little noisy but not too bad considering.

arrived in the dark, missed the property because outside sign poorly lite, dark entrance to hotel, room cold, system fan throwing cold air, unable to adjust.

Clean, comfortable room. Comfortable bed. Great bedside lamp with easy-to-access outlets in the lamp base — for charging phone and iPad. Nicely appointed bathroom. Easy to find location. Friendly staff. Easy to access parking.

The coffee is not very good. The coffee maker in the room worked well. Ground coffee provided was disappointing, uninteresting, lacked flavour. Next time, I will take my own coffee. 😊 I mention this because coffee is an important part of my morning. (Still a great inn.)

The bed was very comfortable. Room laid out very well.

Door to bathroom was very hard to shut. I believe this was due to humidity no fault of the hotel or staff.
